You can call it snobbery but Lambert has no business being at Liverpool.

Arguably one of the most embarrassing transfers in the history of the club. An absolute dog a player. Will often get praise because he's technically good for a 'big lad' but he's still at a shockingly low level.

  2. Given the choice again, I'd take Lambert over Mario every single second of every single hour of every single day of every single week and so on....

Each to their own but not a chance. <ok>

Well, maybe if we were looking for a club mascot, then Lambert could certainly fill that role? Or Tour Guide around the museum?

  4. In reality, neither of us would sign either of them. On this basis, I'd sign Lambert if I had to sign one of them because he cost much less money!

The point is that we are all in agreement. The galling thing is that we WERE all in agreement at the time. It is not as if it is all in hindsight. It was entirely predictable. Many of us thought when balotelli was bought: what the ****? Surely if all these top managers are getting rid, there must have been a very good reason. Rodgers had to fall for his own hype to beleive he can control balotelli.

And as for Lambert: we all said at the time that the club cannot really go for sentimentality. A good season for Southampton cannot be a good reason to recuit to such an imporatnt position. In the end it cost very dear.

I certainly remember most people not wanting that signing. Obviously when the inevitable happened people jumped on board to back him and went on about his goals and for 16m being risk free and how he has been at most clubs and how Rodgers has tamed Suarez, he could do the same with Mario.

What i don't get about Rodgers is why he's shoe horning all these players in the wrong positions. Johnson who is diabolical anyway shoehorned left back. Can who has performed admirably at RCB (recently being exposed and is pony in the air) is now being shoved at RB when you have a perfectly competent RB in Manquillo whilst not being the best going forward is so defensively sound. Then you have the strikers, Mario has never done it for you guys as a lone striker, doesn't like to stay up there either always dropping deep and wide, is... played as a lone striker!. Madness.

He's been fluffing peoples positions up all year. Hendo at rwb, sterling at rwb when he's your only decent threat up top (or when both him and phil were behind the striker). I think this year has shown Rodgers up badly and for that i can't wait for him to stay as the Manager of Liverpool.

    you are right.

we played can at RB with an rb on the bench. We could have played johnson at RB and just made the problem localised to the LB slot by playing some one there... even manquillo just to fill in.

balotelli runs similarly to anelka in many ways. he drops off not goes in behind so we played ibe and sterling very wide and never got close to him. if you get a guy in who drops off you must have guys go past him and stretch sides.

All we had to do was beat West Brom and Hull and we would be two points behind fourth. BRod is useles for not motivating the players in a still winable situation, players are useless for not motivating themselves. Useless bunch of batards. Hate football. ****e game
