I've got it set on the calendar, and reminders set on my phone, which of course serve as my memory these days. Will get the train in so really looking forward to the night. Never minded hearing new stuff being played for the first time, so should be great.
So... I've been invited to Southampton Guildhall for a press call with the 1976 FA Cup winning side, plus Lawrie McMenemy tomorrow morning. Currently weighing up whether to put in an appearance or not. I *think* I really want to...
My plans... Friday: 05:00 - Get up and get the train to Southampton 10:00 - Attend the conference with Lawrie and players, then try and grab some interviews afterwards Afternoon - Train back to Southend Saturday: 05:30 - Get up and get a train into London 13:30 - Arrive in Morecambe 19:00 - Depart Morecambe 02:00 - Arrive back in Southend Sunday: Five-hour train journey back to University. I'll be shattered by the Bank Holiday.
Also - if anyone can think of anything they'd like me to ask - please do tell me now and I'll get it asked! McMenemy, Fisher, Bennett, Steel and Holmes among those in attendance.
