This is not just a football issue this is a wider issue of parents not teaching their kids to obey and respect rules. This is why society is going to **** kids are running riot because their parents don't care or don't enforce the rules. You are part of the problem with this 'let them do what they want they are only kids' attitude.

Jesus Christ I'm only in my 20s and I'm already turning into my Dad <doh>

Bunker Hill, not Bunkers Hill, was the kop end, with a small k, at Boothferry. You don't get that kop is a generic term, do you. The largest of kop ends were at ?Villa andWolves both of which held over 30,000 though Wolves fans who were the most vocal used the smaller end at the opposite end. Anyone who went to Wolves in those days will remember what a steep set of terracing it was.
The Gallowgate End was the kop end at Newcastle. And didn't have seats in at the time you describe. Neither did the other end behind the goal. So your memory is as poor as your football knowledge or you are telling porkies.

Bunker Hill named after the first major conflict between the British and Americans in the Revolutionary War. I believe it is close to Boston.

You do right to smack your forehead. Just where have I advocated letting children do just as they like? Try reading the thread before insulting me.

The same goes for you as for Tonight We Dine. Just where did I suggest there were seats in the part of St James' where I was? Try reading the thread before spouting off. And whatever you say, we who stood on Bunkers Hill called it Bunkers Hill. The story told in those days was that the mound was in fact boiler ash and cinders, though it probably wasn't true. Nonetheless, that's what we spoke of.

Yep you're right my apologies I did read the thread but got your post mixed up with what someone else had said earlier.

But it was the post below that got me confused with who had said what, you give off the impression that even though you wouldn't do it they should be allowed to break the rules because they are women and children, you're right they don't mean to offend anyone but the rules were clear before and it can cause arguments they should not be allowed to break the rules just because they are children.

People who were stood there generally called it Bunkers. That did lead to it wrongly being called Bunkers Hill.

OK. Let's call it the Gelderd End. And cheer Hull Haddocks on as names don't matter and you can call things whatever you feel like.

There are some clueless ****s on here but you are right at the top of the list.

You were the one who said he could call it what he liked. No, he didn't miss an 's' off, he added one on. You certainly have difficulty with comprehension, don't you?
This is quite funny, the outrage over a different name.
