    all true.

the biggest thing is I proved how rodgers lucked into 343 with injuries but in reality he has still the elements available to him to play this 343 for last two games.

    Why didn't he?

He talked baout his game and getting abck to it when he realised he lucked into a system

    Example

He has available to him right now:

    Mingolet
    Can Skertl Lovern
    Ibe Henderson Allen Markovic
    lallana Sterling Coutinho

This cannot be denied as being available to him... Now i'd drop allen for can and even stick jonhson in RCB but in fairness to allen he did try last night. average player but a trier.

    by the by...

we played and best man city (luckily imo due to goals socred being worldies but game was even)

    Mingolet
    Can Skertl Lovern
    Markovic Henderson Allen Moreno
    lallana Sterling Coutinho

only one change form the team that did over city... a team that had a 10 match unbeaten run and 6 clean sheets away on the bounce?

Ok lovern isn't great in that shape but WHY has rodgers abandoned his so called philosophy for one that is to my mind simpler to play 433 but looks like never ever getting him a goal.

In fact he is pinning his best players too deep and too wide to get involved and we lack any penetration... another rodgers buzz word.

    ........................................................

One can only surmise that he has bottled it and forgotten the basics of what he is supposed to be delivering again.

I'm not great fan of 3-4-3 but it puts coutinho in an alomost free role more advanced rather than covering left ****ing full and it created a solid enough back 3 that coudl cope centrally so the midfield 4 could dominate possession.

Right now we've simply blown all chance we had and look in serious risk to me of finishing 7th.

This won't work as the front two can't play. rickie lambert is the only guy who knows where to run into even if he hasn't the legs. boalotelli will run deep but not behind and borini is just muck.

There's no need for all this discussion on our problems, it is really simple like/

We have no one up front who is considered a threat by the opposition. They know if they just sit deep we can be nullified because we have no one that can pull a goal out of their ass via their own ability.

Alas Balotelli put in the worst prformance from a forward I have seen at any club anywhere in any game I have watched possibly EVER.in that game.

The backheel, "wtf, turn and shoot you big lump of ****" I thought.

The bottom line is and has been for us is that if your forwards are not creating problems when they don't have the ball... then you are too easy to defend against. All standing still waiting for what exactly?

Balo 1 touch in the second half.

Suarez used ot be running all over the place when he hadn't got the ball, or coming as deep as almost to the half way line if the opposition tried to make him out of it, he worked so hard to make space for him and others when he had not got the ball.

What irks me is we should have ben putting 4 or 5 bodies in that box and lashing the ball in cos anything can happen with so many bodies, sometimes a scappy goal is the only one you can get in such a game.

Uninventive, lazy. Sums our attack up

Good game last night lads, think it's a shame you guys are underperforming because you have the talent to be playing better than you did against us. Balotelli's shrug of the shoulders when he missed that flashed cross along the goal line summed up his performance for me. He's a great talent, I think if you can get a manager to get the best out of him you'll see the player he can really be.

The biggest shock for me was how well Sone Aluko played for us, he's come under fire in recent weeks for not putting a shift in but it'd be interesting to see what you guys made of him, I thought he was outstanding.

All I saw of Aluko is falling over his own stepover and making Lovren look good. Anyway good job staying up.

Aluko was very good. Worked his socks off, showed a lot of skill, gave the hapless Liverpool defender's twisted blood and was a great outlet during the handful of minutes Hull were under pressure. Perhaps lacking in end product though!

he was average. the fact we had like 2 back like a schoolboy game help him put a shift in.

hull need shot of bruce ASAP and hire rodgers... we can sell you balotelli for 5mil if you want him as well.

better than terrible... thats all you need. average is a good thing.. don't take it as bad, average = midtable.

sure he worked hard but FFS joe allen "worked hard" for us and saved our skins late on by working hard. you need more to progress but this year for you survival is all that matters

next year? please buy balotelli off us.. i'll throw in a lambert for free on top.

We've got Jelavic and N'Doye to score our goals mate, Wigan have just been relegated to League 1, try them.

  15. Most of our posters seem to be on a bandwagon of labelling players average atm, whether they are our own players or opposition players doesn't matter.

Had Lambert been given a proper run in the side I think he would have scored a few goals for you. For some reason Brendan hasn't given him any kind of a chance. A pal of mine is a Saints fan and he said when Liverpool signed Lambert that if he was supposed to be some kind of supersub then he'd flop as he's the kind of striker who needs to be playing regularly.

  17. I said the same thing and Lambert himself said as much too.

have you seen the poor old dear?

    he can't run.

A proper run in the side means to my mind a system that favours him in which case a proper system for balotelli could be found either.

The guy played a few even in CL against some god awful sides and just scored a scrappy one.

If LFc had any clue how to play off a target man like oh utd play off felliani sure but when people try to play some brand of football they call... progressive... and want players to "penetrate" as in run in behind teams then lambert just can't do it.

I read with bemusement when we signed him cos suarez was still round... then lambert said the exact same himself in preseason and i posted an article saying just this... alarm bells rang n my mind about him talking about having to do extra work.

    It was just plain stupidity.

In any event the blokes legs have gone just that simple. Southampton were not mad in letting him go for that fee. it was very good fee they got.

  20. Earlier in the season, Lambo got five or six games in a row and looked dead on his feet. We'd have been better off playing with ten men he was that knackered <laugh>
