Why did you rate Jose so highly then? And not now, what has changed?

    Tia Maria is a compliment.

Haven't you realised yet that London's Only is a raging alkie? Him and Sisu love to share the odd bottle of anti-freeze and bond over their shared love of inventing stats and figures <ok>

As a Utd fan I much prefer following my idol Fergie and swigging regularly from a box of wine. I find the red nose helps me see better in the dark <ok>

    My team would be:

    De Gea
    Ivanovic Terry Smalling Azpilicueta
    Carrick Matic
    Mata Rooney Hazard
    Costa

Azpilicueta at LB as we haven't had anyone there consistently this season, hopefully Shaw gets a good injury-free run going next season.

Terry's partner at CB could be anyone, could well be Cahill or Jones.

    De Gea
    Ivanovic Terry Cahill Azpillicueta

    Willian Matic Blind Fabregas Hazard

    Rooney

Di Maria on paper is easily good enough but not really done enough yet for United IMO. I can't make a case for any United defenders.

Blimey, what on earth have you been watching? Willian? Honestly, Willian?

And Blind really is not a central midfielder of any decent quality, both Carrick and Herrera are streets ahead in our squad, and also on form.

I don't disagree. Just think that team has the best balance purely from what I've seen this year.

    I like Willian. Underrated IMO.

If you're looking for a right sided player out wide Ashley Young is genuinely playing well. Tends to be ignored because he's got a certain reputation but he is.

    Right footed too!

Hard working wingers, two defensive midfielders, lone strikers?

When you say 'best balance', you mean 'biggest bus to park' don't you?

Tbf I reckon that's probably the team Mourinho would pick if you asked him.

Personally I'd play that team and give them a bit more license to cross the halfway line than Mourinho. I agree young is doing well but he's more of a left winger I thought which would mean one of him or Hazard being on the wrong side. Willian is capable of attacking with flair but tactics negate this.

I'd make 2 changes to your team -

Put De Gea in goal, and Shaw at Left-back.

What's funny, he was class against you 2 weeks ago, he'll be the best left-back in the premier league next season.

People said the same about Ronaldo Matth.

The kid is 19, he'll be excellent in a season or two. They only put a <laugh> because deep down they wish they'd signed him.

Cast iron cert wasn't he, given he's a lifelong Chelsea fan? Nailed on an all that.............

He was ok against us 2 weeks ago, though spent most of the game passing backwards. And since when did one game make a player?

Azpil has been brilliant for 2 seasons now and establishing himself as an international for a far better national team than ours. Not even comparable.
