agree there Red. I reckon Rodgers knows this too cos he's been told so by FSG. He had a look of dead man walking in his interview last night.

We should have went balls out to get Sanchez in the summer, I reckon we penny pinched as ****ing usual. Should have offered the money we paid for lallana Lovren and Balo in wages and fee and not bothered signing them at all.

Losing Suarez and who we signed, It's akin to losing the tip of your spear and replacing it by adding more shaft

Apparantly we offered the same package as Arsenal. It was only the Liverpool based journos who kept talking about how Sanchez's wife wanted London etc etc.

Wenger has been chasing Sanchez for over a year, and even flew out to meet him at the World Cup, whilst Rodgers was messing around with his new gf or chasing the Soton lads. Plus Wenger is a massive attraction for any player. Rodgers doesn't have that pull just yet.

 

Get your points, but had we offered him 50k a week more.. and a go on Brod's tranny, we might have got him

We needed to go balls out to progress and we tried to penny pinch on real quality and went over the odds on ****e instead like Lovren

If you really want a player, sometimes you have to go and get him, we just don't do that when all above us have CL and/or more wages.

I think we've been getting into good positions but we've lacked the final pass to create the chance.

Will have to dig it out but if you were to compare the clear cut chances created between this season and last, I'm sure there is a massive difference.

 

Can't be good for Badontelly,Lambert and Borini's confidence when they hear him bleat about losing Suarez and needing a striker every other Interview either can It...Or playing Sterling Instead of them when he ain't even a striker?

Not a wum but a thought to why their confidence Is lower than shark **** like..

 

Problem is he's right to do that as none of them have shown any sign of being good enough. He bought them though so has to accept that as his own fault.

 

I'm not necessarily talking clear cut chances either, I'm talking chances whether it be half a chance or clear cut. We never take half chances and we often refuse clear chances in an attempt to get a bit nearer. We are too patient at times IMO

 

I thought so earlier in the season and then things improved, will he sign the right players and will we then improve? I think we'll find out, I don't think he'll be sacked but he certainly will be if we don't start very well next season.

 

I agree, we have to be more aggressive in the transfer market if there's a chance a player like Sanchez will come to us then go all out and make it very hard for him to turn us down.
