Leicester could put out a team on crutches with blindfolds and they will still beat us.
We're abysmal and don't deserve to be in the PL.
We're heading down, be in no doubt.

This one's got 3-1 written all over it,
Cisse 2 and Ba getting the third.

Yes I reckon they won't be able to cope with Cabaye and HBA supplying the bullets for those two.

Cannot wait to see Ginola and Ferdinand back. They'll get us the points.

Can't see them having much of an impact if Carver puts Ferdinand in goal and Ginola as defensive midfielder.

At least we have Shearer, Solano, Asprilla, Beardo and Robert all playing at left back. We've been lacking some decent cover there.

Get out there beat frigging Leicester, then Soton to beat them then SAFC to beat them, easy ! we both stay up. Cringeworthy Villa might kop it with a bit of luck.

Just read Nigel Pearson's post match interview (copied below). Our game must now be billed the match of the two mad managers. What with one trying to fight the fans and the other the press it might be safest to play this behind closed doors!

After Leicester’s loss to Chelsea Nigel Pearson became embroiled in an argument with reporter Ian Baker, ending in the manager storming out having called Baker an ostrich. Read the transcript in full below:

Nigel Pearson The bottom line is what has given us a chance to survive has been the collective spirit we have. To win four games on the spin at any level, but certainly at Premier League level, is difficult and for the players to have to deal with the amount of criticism and negativity they’ve had to endure over the course of the season has tested us. Without wanting to talk too much, the players come out with awful lot of credit for dealing with setbacks and I expect them to deal with tonight’s setback as well.

Ian Baker What criticism are you talking about?

NP Have you been on holiday for six months? Have you been away for six months?

IB No, I am just not quite sure what specific criticism you are referring to?

NP I think you must have either your head in the clouds, or been away on holiday, or reporting on a different team, because if you don’t know the answer to that question . . your question is absolutely unbelievable, the fact you do not understand where I am coming from. If you don’t know the answer to that question then I think you are an ostrich. Your head must be in the sand. Is your head in the sand? Are you flexible enough to get your head in the sand? My suspicion would be no.

    IB Probably not.

NP I can, you can’t. You can’t. Listen you have been here often enough and for you to ask that question, you are either being very, very silly or you are being absolutely stupid, one of the two because for you to ask that question, I am sorry son, you are daft.
IB There hasn’t been much harsh criticism of the players.

NP You are wrong. No, you are wrong. You have been in here, I know you have so don’t give that crap with me, please don’t give that crap with me. I will smile at you because I can afford to smile at you. Now do you want to ask a different question or do you want to ask it differently. Come on, ask it. Ask it or are you not capable?

IB I just don’t know what you, erm ...¶

NP (mimicking his voice) You don’t know. What’s ’erm’?

IB I don’t know how you’ve taken that question.

NP Well you must be very stupid. I’m sorry. (Pearson gets up and leaves)

Pearson is a dull prick and has no people skills whatsoever.

Whereas Carver has no people skills and is a dull prick who couldn't manage a pxss up in a brewery. Sounds like the dream team for MA. I think we have Carver's replacement sorted.

Personally I'd take Pearson as manager solely on the basis of calling that journalist an ostrich. So randomly majestic.

I like that fact that he thinks he is flexible enough to bury his head in the sand. Exactly a quality we need in a manager. If that is a required quality of a manager I think we should see if Carver fits these requirements. I reckon 6' deep should do it.

I have noticed that there is a subtle change in the banter between us lately almost as though we feel a bit stupid taking the pxss out of each other when everyone else is laughing at both of us. Unfortunately good support doesnt necessarily equate to well run clubs and we are both failing in that respect.

He really is doing his best to alienate people and piss them off even more. The guy should keep his mouth shut.

Pat Murphy kicked Pearson's arse all over the shop earlier on today. I think even the most ardent Pearson supporter would admit that if it was a boxing match it would have been a 2nd round TKO.

Haven't seen much of Leicester this season so i just watched a few games of their's on youtube. We're ****ed on Saturday. From what I can see they are pretty good and usually win, but they are dirty as ****. Can't believe there was not a single yellow card in any of the games I saw. I reckon De Jong will be stretchered off inside two minutes. I really can't see us winning as they looked a lot more committed than our lot. Just hope we put up a better showing than London Welsh cos the commentators didn't seem impressed with them at all.
