It's likely that City are going to remain in the Prem for a third season, a record for the club. And to think Steve Bruce has managed to achieve this whilst working under such a terrible Chairman. Assem Allam can't take any credit for the club's success, it has nothing to do with him, he's rubbish. Let's hope he sells up soon so that a new owner can hopefully maintain our top-flight status.
If new owners come in whilst we are still in the prem I do wonder how Allam will be remembered when the dust has settled and the heat over of the stupid name change idea has gone. Will he be remembered as a mad-man with a heart of iron or a misunderstood saviour of the club who didn't really 'get' football when looking back through rose tinted glasses.
He is a business man. I can't think of anyone better than a business man. He doesn't interfere in team selection. He doesn't interfere in transfers. OK he has made a few gaffs. He says things that leave you wondering about his sanity. But overall I think it's better the devil you know. I can think of much worse owners.
Just checking, but you do realise I was being sarcastic? I think AA is arguably our greatest ever Chairman.
