Nice try! At least he ain't relegated us... Let's get back to discussing property magnate JB and his soon to be available valuable South London building plot.
Eire. That's what comes from investing in the "team". That's the decision Bournmouth made. We on the other hand get fixated on buying back ER. What would we rather have, 15 million spent on players to get us up and then buy back the ground or buy it back now? I know I think promotion solves all and we should be spending on players capable of getting us up
No, but we spent cash on upgrades, applications for casinos etc, all moneys that could have been invested on a team capable of at least challenging. If you want to pocket cash surely the PL is the best place to be??
Agree Leeds of,thing is our recent owners think they can do it on the cheap, Ok bournmouth did,but it doesn't work like that, We've been owned by ****s for years, only interested in themselves not players on the pitch.
Thing I don't get is, If you want to make money, invest, get promoted, then sell, I don't see how mid table champ,or worse,is ever going to make anyone any money.
Exactly, Bournmouth's owner apparently spent 10 million to get them promoted for an estimated 100 mill, now I'm no mathematician but.......
So far Cellino has paid out 8.5 mill, the club is more or less paying for itself with income covering out goings. He has trousered 10 mill in transfer fees assuming we have had 7 mill for mcgreedy. A better return than the Halifax is offering. Plus he and his brood have all been paid a huge salary.
But 10 million is still feck all compared to what he could pocket from a promotion from the TV cash and sale of the club if that's all he wants, unless it's easier money
