Torino are preparing an offer to bring Hull City striker Abel Hernandez back to the Serie A in the summer.
The 24-year-old Uruguayan international left Palermo to join the Tigers in the summer, but has failed to justify his €14 million price-tag, notching only four goals so far this campaign.

Gazzetta TV reports that Torino are planning an end-of-season bid to entice the speedy striker back to the peninsula in the summer.

With Hull in real danger of getting relegated, the Granata are hopeful of signing the ex-Palermo star at a discounted price.

Hernandez netted 36 goals in 122 appearances for the Rosanero, before making the move to England last summer.

The Torino was the original Starskey and Hutch car.

Not a lot of people know that. Nerd mode off.

They'll struggle, they're skint despite flogging Immobile. Expect a season long loan bid...

I know some people think he's got some promise and he may do but I still feel cheated over the price we paid. I think if we could get 80% back we might be able to spend it on something a little more safe.

The Championship could be good for him to find his feet in English football, no pun intended.

On the back of reports emerging from Italy last week, it appears that Torino are showing considerable interest in Hull City striker Abel Hernandez to take the forward back to Serie A, according to the Daily Mail.

The Uruguayan frontman was also linked with AC Milan in the last seven days, but it appears now that eighth-placed Torino are serious about their approach.

Having three of Hernandez’s compatriots in their squad, Torino could be a huge pull for the 24-year-old. However, the Tigers may not be willing to let their £10m-man leave on the cheap.

Another one that's not really had much of a chance. We buy these guys and then don't give them time to settle and expect the world. I think he would be more suited to playing tonight against Liverpool, despite how well Aluko played on the weekend and would like to see him start.

When Bruce was asked about interest in him in the Palace press conference he batted it away and said that Hernandez had wanted to play in the prem for ages.

Hope he gets on as Liverpool are a bit shaky at the moment, they won't have a clue about him

Yeah, I think you're right, plus I think his speed would work well against them.

    His speed is a myth.

He's got a fancy name and fancy hair and probably bright green boots which all make him appear fast but he's actually slow as frig.
