http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/snooker/32421212 You've even said yourself, he's looking machine like, so the diet is clearly having a good affect I didn't back him for that reason, I'm just pulling your leg. I backed him simply because he's a great player, and has played a lot less snooker this year, keeping himself fresh for this. Wether he will win, it's hard to say, as a few are playing very well , but I think anyone who beats him will have to play exceptionally well the way he's playing
Trump has got to get past Ding first. If Dings temperament holds up he can beat anyone. And like you say Trump isn't playing to his best, I think he was very workmanlike against Fu. He will need to up his game a lot if he has aspirations of winning. I think Ronnie would prefer Ding tbf, as Ding seems to fold against him, where as Trump has a fair record against Ronnie
I did have another bet today with Sporting bet at 6/5 for Robertson just to make the final. Looking at the draw your getting 6/5 for him to beat Hawkins and Murphy. Looks reasonably good value to me
The not606 jinx strikes again. I knew I shouldn't have posted my snooker selections on here You say you've done Ronnie he's in trouble, at odds of 1/6 before the match. Whilst my 2 bets on Robertson to win and make the final are looking in trouble, as he is struggling against a guy he was 2/7 to beat. Whilst the other 2 short price favourites Murphy and Trump are looking good. Trump in particular is cruising to victory. I knew it was a big mistake posting selections on here
Ste I backed felix yonger, got met out of jail I thought the don might get beat but pick the wrong horse. Thought ruby gave the winner a great ride. Was surprised how close the line is to the last . You really have to make it on a good stride or your f##ked
Punchestown Preview: Three bumper horses to note please log in to view this image Share this article By Tony McFadden -- published 26th April 2015 One of the features of the Punchestown Festival is the numbers of bumpers that are staged, and Tony McFadden of Timeform highlights three horses that are sure to be of interest. Gigginstown have introduced a number of promising bumper horses this season, though there’s a chance that Disko might be the best of them, such is the impression he created when trouncing the opposition on debut. The Noel Meade-trained Disko was strong in the betting prior to his Punchestown debut, and supporters had few concerns as he travelled best, led entering the straight and forged clear to register a 15-length win. It’s difficult to know exactly what Disko achieved – the form has been largely untested since – but there’s no doubt he was visually impressive and is worth a go at a decent prize. Willie Mullins – who has traditionally enjoyed so much success in bumpers – had no joy whatsoever with his battalion of horses in the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival, but he looks to have a good prospect in the unbeaten Pylonthepressure (non runner at Cheltenham), and he’s sure to be of interest at Punchestown. Point winner Pylonthepressure made a striking debut under Rules when winning easily at Thurles, needing little effort in the saddle to assert, and he improved markedly on that form when beating a decent prospect at Naas, once again impressing with how strongly he travelled. Few bumper horses have run to a higher level this season and, with plenty more to come, Pylonthepressure is one to note for Punchestown and beyond. Nicky Henderson has used Kempton Park as the starting point for a number of his good horses down the years – think Bobs Worth, Riverside Theatre, Beat That, etc – and he has certainly fared well in bumpers at the track this season. One Henderson horse that really caught the eye in making a winning start at Kempton was OK Corral, who beat a good-looking field in comfortable fashion, looking a smashing prospect as he responded strongly to his rider’s urgings. OK Corral’s dam, Acoola, is a sister to the top-class chaser Tidal Bay, and OK Corral looks to have the ability to match his pedigree. please log in to view this image
Keep the faith old boy! Seen bit of Ronnie there, he didn't look too hot at all but still hopeful he can crank up the gears
Day two was a toughly compared to yesterday.how did you get on Florida.hope there were some nice 'cailean alainn' on show.
Yeah that Stuart Bingham is quite an underrated player. I think Ronnie will just about get through though
Ball run has been a beast in recent years. O ' Sullivan hates playing him too. I'd prefer the Rocket to progress though for entertainment reasons.
Well a 50/1 winner for Jessica today means backing her blind you'd be well up for the week. Anyone on?
Oh well it's time to go home, and I've done all my dough and some. I've some great photos that I'll try to upload from the final fence. A couple of observations about Irish racing. It's fiercely competitive, I used to think it was a bit two Bob but results speak for themselves.the.races are really rough
And you have to be a pretty tough jockey to survive.im not to keen on the amount of whip use I think we've got it pretty much right in the uk
