In fairness Shergs Bob has posted a bet that will (hopefully) give him some fun lasting over 4 days. I know I usually bet more than £50 a day during Punchestown or (definitely) Cheltenham! I'm sure a professional like yourself also would :)

I still have big bets Beefy, though singles only. I normally bet about 100 a bet nowadays, unless I'm super confident. Though I'm on a bad run at the moment, so I wouldn't call myself a pro. It's been all down hill since a great Cheltenham:biggrin:

Thats the way it goes Shergs. My Aintree was awful, Fairyhouse was good bar my nap of the meeting! Haven't played much else tbh. Have a nice bet on Ronnie in the snooker at 5/2 pre tournament. Easy money lol :)

I'm not even gonna post who I've backed pre tournament in the snooker, as every selection I post on here gets turned over recently. So I'm starting to think the boards jinxed <laugh>

    It's not Ronnie though <ok>

Nearly needed more than new shoes did you see the cue getting a slap the other night! He seems hugely irritable so far but I'm hoping as the competition improves he'll also improve his game. He normally does but Robertson is looking machine like from what I've seen. Still not convinced Trump is at his best in these marathon matches.

Yep, I seen that. He doesn't seem as happy with himself in his opening few games as he has been the past year. I didn't back anyone this year. I usually back Robertson and think he has a nice draw to the final this year so maybe I missed a trick. Maybe I didn't! All the best with your bet though.

I was hoping when he banged his cue that he'd bent it <laugh>

In all seriousness though, I'm on Robertson pre tournament at 13/2, when I read he'd changed his diet to a Vegans diet, I thought to myself, he's a banker for the title

How the feck does going Vegan make him a certainty Shergy lol He's the danger without a doubt but that's down to his ball striking, overall matchplay and his focus, not the fact he's had a salad sandwich not a bacon butty in the morning lol

Glad to see McGill coming through too, has done ok in some of the PTC events and the longer format is bringing his best out now. Has been unlucky the last few years in the qualifiers and hope he goes on a good run after knocking Selby out.

Really impressive wasn't he. Won his 2 matches with centuries in the final frame so the guy can stand up to the pressure. Hopefully Ronnie can get past Bingham no sweat then knock that arrogant little twat Trump into touch in the semis :)
