Who would you like to come up with us? Personally I hope it is Bournemouth and Norwich. Why? - well for some reason I have always quite liked Norwich and Canary Dave only enhances that like. They are a club that has done better over the years than perhaps you might expect yet have somehow always maintained a decent character. Bournemouth - like Swansea and perhaps Hull before them I admire for coming back from the brink. Bournemouth -like a certain Bedfordshire club suffered some massive points deductions but instead of sliding into non league obscurity they pulled back from the brink and in 6 years have achieved wonders -OK they have a rich Russian but we have half decent backers ourselves. I have never much liked Ipswich -for no reason but at the moment do not like their - or Derby's managers. Wolves - not this year - not for nic - and Brentford are somehow a nothing club (sorry if any Brentford fan is reading this) but it is just how I see them. So if as is likely Bournemouth gain the other auto spot I hope Norwich get through the play offs
It is easy to find reasons to like or dislike teams It changes from season to season. I can find arguments for both wanting and not wanting any of the candidates for the final two places to gain promotion. All I hope is that the two other promoted teams finish below us next season.
I want Bournemouth to join us for the simple reason that I think they really deserve to after the season they have had - yes we know about the penalties and red-cards, but they have played good football and deserve promotion. After that I don't really mind, but I suppose I would go for Norwich as well. Of course, I now want us to go up as champions.
Norwich - always quite liked them and had a few games for the London branch of their supporters club. I also have a bet riding on them. I actually like Brentford - know a few of their fans and they're a great bunch. Realistically they won't make it. I thought Derby were a bit unlucky last year but they haven't kicked on as I thought they would. Ipswich and Boro I have no real feelings about one way or the other. A week ago I would have said I don't want Bournemouth due to refereeing decisions - entirely sour grapes on my part. Now we know exactly what it takes to go up I would not begrudge them at all. And we all love a fairy tale!
As a Watford fan, I want the 2 teams that will perform the worst in the PL to get promoted. As it stands, I reckon Bournemouth and Ipswich would have no chance of staying up, so will go with them
I would like to see Norwich there and I don't really care for the others; except my kid brother's lad is at university in Bournemouth, so perhaps them.
Well, it's Bournemouth and one other. Bolton have capitulated and AFCB got their customary penalty and red card for the opposition. Eddie Howe is furious ref didn't allow their penalty to be retaken until it went in. Now know we have to win to be Champs
Glad I am not a betting man. Just over an hour after Watford’s promotion to the Premier League was confirmed Sky Bet sent out an email in which the Hornets were made odds-on to suffer relegation from the top flight next season. The betting company have made the Golden Boys 8/13 to end the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign in the bottom three. Slavisa Jokanovic’s side are 6/5 to avoid relegation while you can get 8/1 on Watford claiming a place in the top ten.
I know it's not answering the question asked, but I think Stevenage winning the League 2 play-offs would really rub it in for the supporters for a certain club in Bedfordshire.
As they play each other in the last game i had hoped that Stevenage could beat them and stop them from going into the play-off .That was before the shxx lost 7 out of 8 LOL
Watford and Bournemouth it is. If results went Brentford's way that really would be a thumb in the eye for the Premier League... I'm sure they'd have preferred Middlesbrough, Derby and Norwich... welllll tough titty!
