Don't normally comment on other teams but if Bournemouth can secure promotion tonight it will be a major kick in the bollocks for the money orientated Premiership, as worldwide Watford and Bournemouth are unheard off, add into the fact they are small grounds without room for the football tourists that polute Premiership games makes it even better. Out of who else are left in the play-offs Middlesbrough,Norwich and Derby are considered 'big clubs' and have been in the premiership fairly recently, Ipswich are around 10 years since they were there and again have no worldwide appeal, if they were to beat Norwich at Wembley that would be interesting as well. Discuss.
No worldwhile appeal? They've got no fecking appeal period!! If they were to beat us in the final at Wembley, then I would hold you personally responsible Ringo for talking this up
I hope Ipswich do go up. Ive always rated Mick McCarthy, did a great job with Wolves and Ireland. If they do, they could be most likely of the three to stay up
How ****in dare you! I was going to say how disappointed I am that Millwall have been relegated, but sod that!
We should beat Ipswich but I don't fancy Brentford or Boro in the final. If Brentford go up that would be an amazing achievement for old Moneyballs and Football. You lot certainly made a pigs ear of this season, you showed absolutely no bollocks .
We did but too late, should had sacked Holloway in January but divvered in doing so. Time to rebuild with youth so league 1 is the perfect division to bring them through.
That is exactly how I feel. Really don't fancy taking on either of them. If pushed in to a preference then it would have to be Boro but it would make for a fairly dull final I suspect. As for ye Wallies, next season can only be better - can't it? Must be among the favourites to be in the mix come next May
Someone said we were 8/1 to win league 1 last week(not looked myself) although i'll be happy winning games a bit more regularly and playing the Millwall way, a total rebuild of the team so maybe next season will be a bit too much to ask in regards to promotion but the season after we'll romp it!!
Yeah I said it Stu, we were installed as favorites with Skybet the night we went down. https://www.skybet.com/football/sky-bet-league-1/event/17739944
