Looking at the table it is now a given that Blackburn can go no higher nor lower.

This being the case do you think it is viable that they may let some of their young guns have a run out for the final game?

If so, would this be a good or bad thing for us?

Just wondering......................

 

Blooding the kids could go either way.
They could play with a youthful, carefree freedom and cause us problems or catch stage fright when faced with our tough as nails squad.
Whatever happens, the lads just need to their jobs and get the necessary result.

My ideal end of season scenario goes like this....
'boro to lose, Norwich to win.
Ipswich win, Derby win.
We get 'boro in the semis.
Derby beat Nodge over two games and we get past 'boro.
Play off final, 5th versus 6th and the other two are **** of luck despite having accrued more points

An Ipswich/Norwich final would be great too. History in the making, regardless of the result it would be remembered for a long time.

 

Can you imagine the journey by either car or more importantly train if it is a Town v Budgies play off final.!

 

surely there is no point in us turning up, the budgies have won the playoffs already.

lets save the environment and just give them the game!

 

They could rest Rhodes and Gestede as they are looking to cash in over the summer ........

The last 4 games (prediction thread) I have got the result correct, on the last 2 I have also got the score correct......I have predicted 2-2 in Saturday <fingerscrossedsmiley>

Away end holds 7000 - we've sold a piss poor 2000 so far. Come on town fans out in force for this one the play offs are by no means guaranteed yet.

REALLY need a reading win tonight to give Wigan/Millwall hope.

If Reading don't win, and I don't for one second think they will, I can see Derby and Brentford smashing their opposition at home final day.

I really don't think we'll win at Blackburn at all. Just a feeling, not confident at all. Another Wolves effort would do me, a draws good enough.

Plumping for a 2-1 loss here sadly, will it be enough? Think Gestede/Rhodes are going to be hard to handle. Rhodes is going to want the last word, here's to hoping he doesn't get it.
