    We have too many strikers, its not as black and white as saying the squad is getting smaller. We're playing one up top and have 5 forwards.

    I do think we'll regret letting Ranger go though, should have loaned him out or at least put a buy back clause in this sale IMO.

    Im really unsure about this one, I always thought he had the potential to be very good. At times last season he showed glimpses of what he can do Liverpool and Arsenal at SJP( exceptional in both). Think we should have kept ahold.

    some people would count 3 simple one on ones as a chance but to be honest i agree and i think it would be a shame if he left as there's still a chance he could make it

    He may've had potential but clearly had an attitude problem which hasn't earned him a big fan in Pardew.
    So. With Best out next and Ameobi talking about his running down contract we're left with the prospect
    of Lover and Ba and the mystery new striker we're promised?

    Hope some of the academy players can up the ante in a Carroll styley but who can stay the distance.
