Even he gives us some praise! Mind you he's probably after a press pass I guess. EDIT: Having said that he seems to think we've only beaten the rubbish teams... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...lauded-giving-little-fans-not-castigated.html
Talk about damning with faint praise! I'm surprsed he didn't mention Troy's incarceration and the quality of the tea and coffee. One can only guess that the editor told him he had to write something about us... There was a rather nice article in the Telegraph on Saturday pointing out that whilst we may not be everyone's favourite we added more than our share of colour to a momentous season and thorughly deserved to be in the position we were.. Mind you, it described the training ground as "bucolic" so i had to look it up in the OED as i thought they were criticising the catering!
Apparently they were describing the country charm of the ground... It's not every day you have football articles written by the GK Chesterton appreciation society
One of Sky's top pundits seems to be getting a bit confused! From Mr Redknapp Jnr: 'Congratulations to Watford after their promotion, but if ever you want an example of how not to run a club, they have been it this season! With unpredictable owners, four different managers and a host of key players on loan, it has been chaos." Deeney/Gomes/Cathcart are not loan players and we all know at least 2 of the 4 managers quit - and Slav has been here since October!?
I would argue that if you want lessons on how not to run a club, there are better examples than us. I give you Newcastle and Sunderland in the Prem.
