Anyone know the state of Diame? Are we likely to see him again? Last time out (Southampton?) he looked yards off the pace and a couple of stone overweight. I hope hasn't lost interest or hasn't the stomach for a relegation fight.
We all know SB likes to keep a winning team so I expect the same starting line-up as Palace Possibly Figgy and Sabgo replaced by Robertson and Diame on the bench
Hopefully we'll see him again before his contract runs out in two years time, I won't hold my breath though.
And yet people keep swallowing it saying "good news, he'll be back for the next game". Something very, very clearly isn't or hasn't been right.
Cause he is not right, the problem he as, is he gets near full fitness but then as problems again, its an on going injury which needs sorting but I would imagine they are trying to get him back because we need him . They will hopefully get it sorted in the summer if he is still with us but it must be so frustrating for him. Even when he is near he can't be 100% because I don't reckon he is getting the full training week in. Any bottom half team would suffer when three key players such as Jelavic, Snodgrass and Diame are missing for so much of the season but what can you do ive never known a season like it for injuries.
I've never known a set of fans keep using it as a **** excuse. Snodgrass is a very poor player, stop whingeing about him not being available. If anything we've been blessed by his injury causing him to miss the entire season.
He's averaged six goals a season in the Premier League, from midfield, that's more than most of our strikers.
And he's as quick on the wing as Douglas Bader, which is a terrific trait when you're already the slowest Premier League team in history....
A few years ago we were all moaning at the J. B*****d injury saga. This season has been much worse with long injury lay-offs for Snodgrass, Jelavic, Diome, Brady, Chester and others, yet we are still in there with a realistic chance of holding on to our PL status. How well could we have done with a full strength squad all season?
People moaned at Bullard's attitude of the field, not his injury. Having Snodgrass all season would've probably seen us comfortably safe IMO, considering the all round impact he has, even with all the other injuries. He would've made a great impact and hopefully now comes back raring to go during the next campaign.
