Sickness as in talking to another club prob cardiff! would have thought he would be one to want to stay and do his badges and move into coaching /management ,in which case he is at the right club!
I seem to remember SD mentioning that Tiny was ill in an interview before the game and i dont thing that MM will dare come poaching again simply cos he will loose all respect and dignity of his collegues if he cant sign anyone on his own with out WFC's help. On the subject of the match, i think the draw is a fair result, it was not like anyone dominated the match and it was two errors which allowed to concede. We apparently showed attacking flair which will be the key to playing the 'Watford way' and we could see the new players and youngsters getting involved. All in all a good pre-season game.
Yeah here we go, about a third down. http://www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~2388704,00.html
I wasn't concerned about the absence of Martin Taylor, I trust that he will see us through this season. Scott Loach was in the stand near me and talked to some people and I heard him refer to a late withdrawl. I am interested in who is coming through the "in door" in the next couple of weeks.
I'm getting old so my memory may be playing tricks but I have the impression that when we do badly in pre-season friendlies we have a good league season and when we win everything pre-season we do badly in the league. Is this really what happens? A man has just walked passed my office window, which is a bit of a shock as I work on the seventh floor! Just had a look. There is scaffolding up. They are fixing bits to the building that were shaken loose.
that must have been a bit of a shocker! Um, i don't remember it that way, re pre-season, but you could be right
