Came in late to this today. Early (American) Mother's day today since my daughter has a concert tomorrow, so been prepping food. Did I miss much?
I'm not entirely sure, it seems to consist mostly of adverts at the moment. Other that that it's been surprisingly free of Poweranaldo.
I hate the aero kit this season. It looks bloody awful and just falls off is someone so much as looks at it.
Don't know if any of you chaps have been keeping up with the Indy 500 practice sessions, but there's been an array of nasty accidents with Hinchcliffe coming off the worst. He was one lucky boy to put it mildly. They really need to get a handle on this before the weekend or it could be absolute carnage. http://espn.go.com/racing/indycar/s...ting-surgery-following-frightening-wreck-indy Scary and worrying stuff....
I saw that earlier, sound's pretty nasty. Hopefully they got to him quick enough so that he'll be able to race again, they undoubtedly saved his life already. Fair warning, this may be a bit gruesome for some "In the impact, which flattened the right side of the chassis, one of the suspension wishbones penetrated the Dallara safety cell, and subsequently caused the majority of the physical damage Hinchcliffe received. RACERhas confirmed through multiple sources that Hinchcliffe had the steel wishbone enter and exit his right leg, then enter his upper left thigh, and continue into his pelvic region before it came to a stop." http://www.racer.com/indycar/item/116939-indy-500-hinchcliffe-saved-from-serious-injuries
I really hope he can recover to race again! He's a great driver with a great attitude. It'd be a crying shame for his career to be cut so short. I guess we've gotta be grateful that it wasn't fatal, but I'm worried for this weekend's race give the tendency for the cars to get lift following an impact or component failure. Hopefully the suspension failure was a one off.
