Steve Bruce would spend his time well studying the video of Everton beating Man. Utd. today.

    Excellent defending by Everton.

I don't think we'd be allowed to borrow Everton's defenders would we?

Surely not, but the tactics are an excellent indication of how to contain Man. Utd on the final day.

    1. Don't concede a goal & a point at least is guaranteed!
    2. Score a goal & don't concede, 3 points are guaranteed!

Everton just replica'd Chelsea's tactics from the week before. Both times, they've put a man on the central midfielder (Fellaini, Rooney or Herrera - as seen in the previous games).

Let Man Utd have possession and remain compact and communicating.

I really hope we don't need any points on the last day! SB needs to be hammering this home to the team!

Yeah, it would be nice to beat United just for fun rather than necessity!

11 men behind the ball and counter. And when you get a chance, score.

Think we might fall down on that second bit.

doubt we'll see much of Rooney and co on the last day. They won't need the points by then I reckon.

I know this is odd but I kind of think we might be better off playing the big teams. Most of the spots will have been decided and also The idea of a 6 pointer va close rivals is such a scary stressful one. Hopefully we beat burnley but I'm glad we don't have to play Sunderland Lester

Am i right in thinking that man utd are the only 'big' team we are yet to take any points from in our 4 seasons in the prem? If so it would be nice to finally manage it plus i come from a man utd supporting family so bragging rights would be also a bonus

I think we have a decent chance for once against Man U, Van Gaal does well against the big teams but the likes of us might be a bit under his radar, plus they can't smash us twice in one season

Chances are they will have nothing to play for when we come to play them, so should we need something from the game, hopefully they will be on the beach.

Van Gaal said Everton were too physical! So we need to be physical with good attacking support from midfield.
