He's been in Europe 3x now, and has failed miserably each time.

    No?

He's had 2 seasons in Europe... one in the EL which was his first ever attempt and one in the CL which again was his first attempt at a team which was massively out of form.

How long did it take Ferguson to do anything decent in Europe? Same with Wenger

After we got embarrassed in CL, we dropped into EL.

I'm sorry but there is no excuses for failing to beat Ludogorets or Basel.

His starting line up against Real away and Basel at home just signals how clueless and small time he is.

In addition, one of your arguments against Klopp is that he only succeeded in an easy league.

Yet, he's performed a lot better in the CL than Rodgers and in tougher groups ..

I've never said that? I like Klopp and think if Rodgers would to go he'd be the ideal man to take over...

However he has more experience in Europe than Rodgers at being able to train a team on 2 different set of tactics in the space of a week where as Rodgers it seems hasn't learnt that yet. Give Rodgers a week to prepare for games and he's pretty good as shown once again when we went out of Europe and after Xmas where we went unbeaten in 12.

However give him only 2 days to prepare and seems to struggle which is logical when you think about it. Having to do the same amount of work in half the time takes getting used to.

Because 36 weeks a season the league is a case of turn up and roll the dice for how many goals you win by

Sanchez has been fantastic this season. Ozil and Sanchez are players who have won titles and won Champions Leagues, that's the level of greatness I'm talking about. I don't think when this season ends and you win the FA cup they will be happy with how it's gone, world class players want to achieve the best, finishing second and losing to Monaco is not greatness.

But yeah both are great players.

Real is built around Ronaldo, Man City is built around Yaya, Hazard is built around Chelsea. If you take them out of the team then it obviously makes the team weaker but they won't fall apart because the players they've used to build the team can still step up. If Ronaldo is out then you have Bale/Benzema, if Yaya is out then you have Silva/Aguero and if Hazard is out you have Costa/Fabregas.

We lose Suarez and we have Sturridge/Coutinho, it's just a shame we have lost Sturridge too.
