    Standing and cheering! Steady on there. Standing is dangerous. At least to City fans. The fans of other clubs bounce about a bit. Probably explains our subdued support in comparison.

    I refer to the club I've supported ted since the 1960s as City, The Tigers, or Hull City -- never, ever just Hull. (And I remember Waggy too as do lots of the members of this forum, but thankfully most don't stoop to brown-nose appeasement).

    You might well be I suppose, but it is undoubtedly unusual

    Difficult when people celebrate. I've certainly been guilty myself of overdoing it, although I'd like to think that doesn't mean I'm a moron, I suppose it's down to people's expectations of how people will or won't react

    How did you come to that conclusion? The only comments I've made in this thread are: a factual one about Ferriby not observing a minute's silence yesterday, a reply to greengrocer's group "slotting" and one about your paternal situation.
