JOKANOVIC HAS TO WIN MANAGER OF MONTH

Surely nobody can stop him now - five wins and a draw beats all the others and he has secured promotion with a game in hand. Even more - the curse cannot now stop us going up (although I do really want the title)

In retrospect the title race became a 7 match run after the international break. We stuck to the task and everyone else slipped. I am still stunned by it as I think we all had the feeling there would be a stumble somewhere.

 

Our stumble was home to Ipswich - and that seemed to focus on what we had to do from then on

 

Looking back it could not have come at a better time.

 

I think giving that last gasp goal away was the final learning lesson that Joka took into the final run in. The balance between attack, attack, attack and defence.

 

Out of interest...how important has Dean Austin been since being appointed?

I still think back to that awful November. If one of those four on the trot losses had turned into a win the whole task would have been easier. I'm still not sure any of our rivals (bar Derby) had such a bad run and we still did it!

 

and that is what has made this season, this team, and this manager so special.... we now come back fighting again and again.....in every game you know we can score at any time..... so strong...

 

deserves it really, someone I was giving no credit at the start, my bad there.
