What baffles me is some numb nuts on here seeming to use this as another excuse to lay into "The Allams" when it clearly isn't theirs, its the Forsters. The Forsters have put a lot of their own money in, to keep this club afloat, and have paid for the success they've had this season. When I asked about NFU in the future, I was told, on here, that they would never make it to the leagues, because they're just a village team and can't expand. This was their pinnacle, and well done to them, and more importantly, well done to their owners who have funded it out of their own pockets. They clearly don't wish to keep funding, in the millions, the club, and why would they? Is anyone else going to step forward and throw money away on the club? It quite clearly is not earning, despite this seasons successes, enough to break even. Anyone on here want to fund it? No? They haven't just said "bye, we're gone", they're still paying for the infrastructure of the club, anyone who wants to can buy it. Some of the **** posted in this thread, and on twitter, especially by the ****ing woman beater, are shameful. As pointed out, some of you need to get some perspective.
If the Allam family was doing something good for Ferriby, you'd be saying the opposite. Pathetic how defending this rich old **** is so important to some people, whatever he does.
I have no doubt if the Allams hadn't been involved with NF then more city fans would pop along to watch them now and then
Some of that I agree with, but and its a big but, they knew all that when they bought the club. It looks like they've won the FA Trophy and got the tick on their CV and have abandoned North Ferriby. They have put the club back 10 years. Yes they can do it, yes they'll pay the bills until its sold but for me a good steward leaves the club in a better shape then when they bought it. Half a million pound investment in North Ferriby could have set them up for the next ten years. Instead they have the FA Trophy in the cabinet and no team. That leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
They own the ground and they've just sacked the entire playing squad, what infrastructure are they still paying for? It's summer, they don't even need the heating on...
What has the FA trophy got to do with anything? So if they had lost in the final, you would have a different opinion? Or if they'd have got knocked out in the first round? Or they'd got relegated this season? They get 350 supporters. They have bankrolled a loss making asset. Why should the Forsters continue. Few others would.

If they had half a million to spend they could have used it to set the club up for the next 10 years. Instead they put it all into the players and went for glory. As you imply North Ferriby United is a small village football club that for a short period of time flew too close to the sun. I don't think they'll recover from this for at least 10 years. You may think that is an acceptable way to behave but I don't.
Unless they cease to exist completely, what difference does it make which pub league they compete in?
It doesn't make any difference to me. It just shows what poor football club owners Mr and Mrs Forster are. Spend half a million quid and leave nothing behind but the FA Trophy and a few ground alterations.
They're a football team, just like us. Whether it's Man United or North Ferriby United, a football club is an integral part of a local community and English football need to be doing its upmost to support grassroots football and the players and the communities involved. Instead, it's the community and the grassroots game which has suffered in this case. Your comment is rather crass and stinks of ignorance of a fan spoiled by the Premier League, rather than as a football fan.
I know you're only really interested in the Premier League, but the Conference North really isn't pub standard. That's why they got to play at Wembley. A few hundred of us have been watching games at the 11th tier recently, that's 5 below the Conference North and even that's not a bad standard. Believe it or not, just a few years before you started supporting City we were actually playing in Division 3 (now called League 2) which is only two above the Conference North. Seriously.
Like any business, if the public doesn't buy the product then you pull the product.. and seek to get as much back as you have invested.... PS..I went to Wembley with NFU and went to the first home game expecting to see a reasonable turnout...Sadly I didn't
The money put into Ferribly was the Allams money....it was done through the daughter & son in law due to rules on club ownership Only a couple of seasons ago before the change in ownership Allam had been making financial donations but could not make public capital from it for the same reasons.....the players received their promotion bonuses in the form of a gift from Assem Allam 2 years ago
