What i liked was we no longer play one style of football and sometimes the football is not pretty but at the end of the day its points that count and monk has got the knack of getting them....That's not bad as he has made mistakes and found out that certain things dont work but you can see he has learned from those mistakes .......I hope he carries on experimenting when the time is right,,,,,,,he is going to be a top manager one day i have no doubt about that....
50 Points! Swansea City Make History! Swansea City's 3-2 win at Newcastle United today has seen them make history - as they broke their record for most points in a Premier League season! They've done it with 4 games to spare, after equaling the existing record of 47 points following their draw at home against Everton a fortnight ago. The Swans didn't make the best of starts in today's game, as a big error by Jordi Amat gifted the home side an early opening goal, and they didn't really look like scoring in the first half until Nelson Oliveira headed home Gylfi Sigurdsson's corner on the stroke of half time. Sigurdsson enjoyed the return to the 4-2-3-1 formation as he put the Swans in front with a shot inside the penalty area before Jack Cork doubled the lead. Newcastle United scored late on as Swansea seemed to be cruising to victory, and the late nervy ending should have easily been avoided. It was an excellent away win, their 14th victory of the season as they remain in 8th place, 3 points ahead of Stoke City and 7 behind Southampton. Next weekend the Swans hope to increase their points tally even further as they host Stoke City at the Liberty Stadium. - Vital Link: http://www.swansea.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=397759
3 v Stoke, 1 v Arsenal, 3 v Man City, 3 v Palace = 60 points, am I dreaming, yes perhaps however a possibility
It's a record season for the Swans in the league and all you can bring yourself to do is comment on a photograph? Just give Monk the credit he fully deserves, you might end up liking him.
I know managers play their part, but it's the players that make or break a season, they deserve the credit, and Laudrup and Rodgers said it, and so has Monk. So for me I will go on what they say
What the **** has it got to do with you, what I think about Monk,or anyone else for that matter? You need to get a life. Oh,and it is a great photograph.
Project leave him alone mate ...he is pissed off that we won and broke our points total record...he is seething..
