Good game overall. Defense has been mistake-prone last couple of games. Not sure what's up with that. Not really fussed about SKD. I think Forster might have saved one of those. But that is why Forster cost a lot of money and SKD is the backup. Of course he doesn't make saves Forster would. We are not the kind of team where otherwise good starters will come here to be backups. The blame for both goals falls primarily on the defenders. Davis has been fine for what he is.
For me the second one seemed to be Davis fault. Also you can't let any player missing about 5/6 chances to score.
Probably not. Biggest miss must be Wanyama for me. I was very pleased with how Yoshida played these couple of matches.
Can't agree. I quite like Maya but the second was down to him, he allowed Chadli to get his shot away. I was right behind the line of the ball and Davis seemed to have his angles right, it was just well placed.
A lot of players would have brought Chadli down in the circumstances, we don't do giving away penalties, Maya just made a mistake, sh*t happens..
Davis was awful today- should have scored two. The only reason JWP came off was because at least Davis was involved and looking for the ball. Prowsey barely touched the ball. If we had a couple of midfielders who could score we would be 4/6 points better off. Mane needs to stay on his feet and stop diving/falling over. Pelle had his best game for a while
Toby just said on Solent that he is playing with a broken bone in his shoulder and played through the pain barrier, he was determined to play for us, what message does that send? http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20150425-toby-alderweireld-post-tottenham-home-2422928.aspx?
Koeman said a couple of days ago that Toby was in pain, but he'd play. I wouldn't blame him if he didn't, but well done to him.
