Sunderland swoop for Mikael Mandron Jul 10 2011 by Mark Douglas, Sunday Sun SUNDERLAND have snapped up 16-year-old French wonderkid Mikael Mandron for their Academy. The strong 6ft 3in striker, who has had trials at other Premier League clubs, was due to sign youth forms yesterday as the Black Cats continue to add an international flavour to their development squad. Mandron has been playing in the French lower leagues in Boulogne, but his performances were good enough to attract the attention of overseas scouts. And he impressed Sunderland during a trial earlier in the summer, leading to the club offering him a development contract. Although already known to French international selectors through time spent at the Clairefontaine Academy, he has British family which means he would be able to play for Scotland and England if he develops well enough.
6' 3" at 16 indicates he's going to be some size by the time he's 20. Could be a good battering ram forward if he develops OK, but I haven't a clue about his skill set as I've never heard of him. Obviously if he'd signed for the mags they'd all have his CV off pat and he'd be utterly brill and better than Connor Whickham.....
I like Frenchies, back lace ideally. White are good with a tan. Red and light blue also acceptable. Not on 6ft 3 footballers mind..
Im getting worried about everyone telling people there vital statistics in this thread. Its going to turn into a lonely hearts column soon.
Yeah, but you can lie. If any good-looking birds are tuning in, I'd just like to point out that I have a 12" cock...
