    There's a reason we are where we are in the table. We lost 50% of our goals from last season through the sale of Suarez & Sturridge's persistent injury problems. And probably a lot more if you count the ones they assisted and indirectly affected by making space for others & putting pressure on defenders.

    Just not enough goals in this team to compete with the top 4 to be honest.

    Balotelli spending most of his time behind the midfielders when we're attacking is not helping anything. He feels he has to be on the ball all the time and comes far too deep for it which leaves us with no one up top. Basically, lots of possession, but no good chances on goal.

    Just typical possession football. Balotelli, Gerrard and Johnson are useless.
    Coutinho is playing deep and Sterling looks like his head is elsewhere, wherever he is going to sign I guess.
    Henderson is always limited when playing alongside Gerrard.

    He's better with a partner e.g. at the Euros. But apparently Rodgers refuses to accept this and give him a run in the team with someone alongside him.
