That was a rather good game of football. Should have won, but still pleased with (most of) the performance.
Basically 2 chances against, 2 goals against which is worrying/annoying/quite good depending on how full your cup is. Great to see Pelle back in the goals. Thought Mane was excellent and my MOM though.
Good game and, although would have been thrilled to have won, this was a game that was important not to lose. I can live with that, whereas I would have been looking for a tall cliff if we had lost. Glad Pelle has his scoring boots back on.
Bugger, disappointed, would love to have beaten Spurs and we probably should have. No complaints, committed game of football. Really want that Europa spot.
Cant be unhappy with a draw i suppose but we had far better chances and should've killed this game off 4 times over. Glad to see Pelle back to being happy and scoring though and a draw means we stay level with our competitors for 6th.
Such is our fate with Davis; not that he was bad, but Forster probably saves one or both through sheer size.
When a defender makes a blatant error which leads to conceding a goal, you point a finger at him an blame him for points lost. It's not so with attacking player. But today we lost two points because of Steven Davis. He had three huge opportunities to score and there's no excuse for missing from those situation.
I think he exaggerated fouls, rather than dived if you get my meaning! He was excellent today though.
Steven Davis was very poor today. He has been low on form and confidence for a while now. He had two glaring misses which would have killed the game. And I thought he could have closed down the man on the ball quicker for both of their goals and there wouldn't have been any danger. Saying that, his namesake should have done a lot better with both shots. One of which looked like handball! So frustrated again. I love this team, but we just don't quite have the quality or the depth to threaten those top clubs yet.
