Rodgers is giving Gerrard his farewell tour, instead of building for next season. I really hope we get Klopp in.

I'm guessing its a 4-3-3, with Johnson LB, Can RB. Which would be frustrating considering the amount of times we've seen Balotelli up front on his own and its never worked.

If we put the only player that makes runs in behind defences at LWB then its equally bad for us. We've been through all these issues earlier in the season where we couldn't play with Balotelli upfront on his own as he had no one running beyond him. It would be incredibly frustrating if we are just resorting back to something that's already failed once.

There's no point being too negative at this moment because Rodgers may have a plan that will make Balotelli more effective than he was earlier in the season on his own, but I have my doubts and I'm not that happy with that line up because it just seems like reverting to a plan that didn't work in the first place.

Brendan Rodgers opts for three changes to his Liverpool line-up for this afternoon's Barclays Premier League clash with West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns.
Mario Balotelli starts for the Reds up front for the first time since the Europa League defeat to Besiktas in Istanbul on February 26. The Italian comes into the side to replace Lazar Markovic.
Jordon Ibe, who was cup-tied for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final defeat to Aston Villa at Wembley, returns to the team to replace Joe Allen.
At the back, Glen Johnson is restored to the starting XI - the full-back comes in to replace Alberto Moreno.
Steven Gerrard will make his 500th league appearance for the Reds, while Adam Lallana is named on the substitutes' bench for the 3pm BST kick-off.
Liverpool's XI: Mignolet, Johnson, Lovren, Skrtel, Can, Gerrard, Coutinho, Henderson, Sterling, Ibe, Balotelli.
Substitutes: Jones, Toure, Manquillo, Lallana, Allen, Borini, Markovic.

Pretty sure we'll line up like this:
    Can Skrtel Lovren
    Ibe Gerrard Henderson Johnson
    Sterling Coutinho
    Balotelli
Really annoyed to see Gerrard in there again. He's had his final season game time already and we've played ****e in pretty much every game he's started in - including the FA roll over and fold cup because Rodgers was determined to rebrand it as the Gerrard cup. Give him a 15minute cameo in the last home game, but otherwise we've got to stop playing him and play some of the younger more promising (and better suited) kids.

I'm optimistic of a win still. Balotelli's looked much better in his last few sub appearances and Ibe is back which is a huge plus.
