Being a nob is not a criminal offence though..If it was St James's Park would be empty because you would all be locked up..<laugh>

Fair enough but my point being it's hard to have sympathy and say the club should back him or whatever, when the minimum offence is that he's been a dickhead.

There again I find your comments judgmental and subjective...None of us really know the circumstances of what has or hasn't took place..

The only way he isn't a nob is if he's had either no contact with her whatsoever, or purely innocent contact. Fair enough, I concede that's possible. About as plausible as me signing for Newcastle, but possible nonetheless.

Regardless of guilt, the worrying thing for Johnson is the Ched Evans case. Not to question the court, but if ever there was a flimsy case against a footballer that seemed to have no chance of holding up, it was that one. And he went down. I don't know if the jury are prejudiced against footballers or what, but it's worrying.

All your fans make monkey gestures to black players and your fans make racist comments to your black players mothers? Howay lad! Don't tar everyone with the same brush.

If you looked at the context of my comments to the posts before, then I'm sure you would have realised they were made in response to an attempted wind up from one of your lot..

Are the clubs hands tied because the pfa has said he can't be suspended as he is innocent till proven guilty? . The club did the correct thing in the first place but now may have been forced to let him play or be taken to court themselves

Not a matter for the PFA, if the club want to suspend they can. The PFA are just a union of sorts, they can complain about it and sue but provided the suspension was with full pay there wouldn't be much to sue over even if he were found innocent.

ps. The PFA are an annoying bunch anyway, everything in the game is the fault of the system and the clubs and the poor downtrodden players have to make do with wages on the breadline and no bonuses or adulation for, lets face it, often shoddy work.

Oh and lads are we really arguing who has the least to be ashamed of here and throwing out past issues. The crowning achievements of our clubs in the last 20 years "well at least none of our fans punched a horse". Jesus Christ we're ****. I'll add that to the other ambitions of our fans like "NE club to avoid relegation by the most points" and "NE club to win derby" as we're not actually competing with most of the other teams in this league.

If you are on about this pic it's of his gf.

Shame that footballers can't use their brains. He has/had a stunning misses and decides he wants a 15yr old instead (allegedly). It's also the last thing you guys need. I don't know why he didn't get suspended for the last few games. But not only will his head will be a mess, but I would imagine not all his team mates like the idea.

That being said if he is found guilty I hope he gets what he deserves.

Morning TT, not any more, but it was a great time for about five minutes, a bit like Punk, which I was informed last night lead to Price Aitken Waterman et all, and eventually Simon Cowell, so talk about one thing leading to another, a give up on the flat cap and whippets anarl. :emoticon-0148-yes:

    Its obvious he's done it.

The grooming charge in itself says there's concrete evidence. He's ****ed.

How does it say there's concrete evidence? It says the CP are going for maximum sentence but I don't how it says anything about the evidence. You know a case can be built on circumstantial evidence don't you? There's nothing concrete about that. Maybe you're privileged to information we're not?

I'm not but for them to charge for grooming that means the evidence is there I.e texts, messages etc
