Surely he's going to end on a double. Box Office simply must have been laid out for today. If not then someone needs shooting.
Ruby over for one ride also Vics Canvas in the Gold Cup Chase, surely just here to give his mate a good send off though
Think it could be ridiculously short, 2/1 maybe even 7/4 Sit back and watch. Have they changed the timing of the race as oddschecker have it as the 4:25
He has to win his last race! Will be a complete tragedy if he doesn't! A classic MCCoy drive after the last to get up on the line I can see the headlines now McCoy brings a Box Office Crowd for his final hurrah!
Call me an idiot but have just backed the black aeroplane I thibk we may be sayig goodbye to him aswell and this may be his last race but on the chance he is back he will make this field look pony !
two for me tommorrow -two singles and an e/w double Argocat 10/1 2 35 sandown Grand Jesture 12/1 in the Gold Cup
Be lovely to see AP go out on a high with a winner The guys been a phenomenon, as simple as that. To be champion of your sport for 20 years is surely unprecedented, or very close to it, especially in such a tough sport as this. The fact he's a humble, modest man to boot is great for the image of the game. Compare what he does for his earnings to our Premier League prima donnas for their £200k a week and it seems the world is bonkers after all! Safe home AP, the word legend gets bandied about too often but he surely deserves the monicker IMHO
I have a feeling Nicholls has kept Vibrato Valtat in this race for a reason. He has already run 8 races this year and running with real credit in all of these, why would trainer and connections want to run him for a 9th time and also in open company for the first time. I reckon he is working very well besides Mr Mole/Dodging Bullets at home. He won well here in December and is a very good jumper of a fence which is always important at Sandown. Surprised to see him as an outsider for this race but solid claims.
Only one horse for me tomorrow and that Somersby. Loves Sandown and finished in Front of all of these in the champion chase and yet hes still 5/1. NAP NAP NAP!!! As for the other televised races I have gone for: 145- Norab 200- Old Guard 220-Yourartisonfire 235- Menorah 315- Somersby 350- Paint The Clouds
Looked up and down the Whitbread entries and keep coming back to Bobs Worth @ 12s ew. Superb record on good ground and should be fresher than most having only run twice this season. Only 1 win in his last 5 visits to the track but this is his easiest assignment by far. Must go close. Good luck all.
I honestly think if McCoy doesn't go out with a double it's been a **** up of epic proportions by all involved.
Gabrial's King @ 8/1 1:45 Ripon Having his first run for Richard Fahey barn here, Gabrial's King needs to win this race for the Good Dr Koukash so as to get into the weights for his beloved Chester Cup. The Fahey/Dr K combination won this very race last year with a similar profile horse in Angel Gabrial who went on to finish a close 2nd in the Cup under a desperate Frank Spencer ride! Good Luck
Well, it's time for a chuckle but I'm tipping AL FEROF 11/4 in a listed race on a stiff track over 2m 6f looks an absolute knocking bet. He should have come on for Aintree (throat surgery beforehand) and is a class above these, including Menorah. His Cheltenham and Ascot (stiff tracks) form is fantastic, his Aintree and Kempton form is rubbish (flat tracks). Sandown is a tough one and he should relish it.
I know a few of you really fancied Paint The Clouds in the foxhunters, and the ground in the end went against him, but he still ran well in 3rd. And looking at the big race tomorrow I believe he is the best bet. The ground should be ideal for him, and he's won over the trip in the past, and races off a nice low mark of 137, with only 10 stone on his back. So I think he's a great bet at 10/1
I Just wanted to post this up as I know we have a few Greyhound lovers on here and this place is doing some really good stuff on a small scale - I am sure any support would be appreciated. http://hull-greyhoundrescue.co.uk/
