It'll be me holding up the Joyce one. I recently found a picture of Warren Joyce presenting me with a signed shirt on the pitch at half-time when I was a kid. - I think i won a raffle at those events where everyone turned up to meet the players and get autos and take pens against the keepers and what not.
Warren just rang me up, he's very touched by the banner and says he's quite flattered with the image. Apparently, everyone at Man United Academy is surprised we found a big enough piece of fabric to fit his nose on. I told him it was not down to me, I just thought he should be aware of the high regard he was still held in here and he said if I send him the number for whoever was responsible, he'll ring and thank them personally. Am I right in remembering someone funded this one on their own? If so, do you want to PM me your phone number and I'll pass it on, if that wasn't the case then either Dutch or Mauled can do likewise and I'll pass it on.
It would have been better if you'd mentioned it to one of us before contacting them because as far as I know, there were other things planned that, that's possibly spoiled, which is a shame. Dude, feel free to PM OLM your number.

It's a shame if anything's been spoiled, but when I'd already said I'd sent it to Ash, maybe it would have been a good idea to say not to send it to Joyce if there was something else going on.
It would have been better if you'd left it to those involved altogether, but it's too late. It's dissapointing, but it's done now. No point running g the risk of tarnishing things. We are where we are. Everybody seems really impressed with the banners. Well done again to mauled and thanks again to the HCSS for their help.
Absolutely. I know I keep saying it, but we were so fortunate to have mauled available and willing to help. I hope his work gets the recognition it deserves. I'm assuming there will be artwork etc getting commissioned for 2017.....us being all cultural and that...get on it Mauled I'm also sure there are plenty of people on here who could offer advice regarding start up companies, they are incredibly cheap to set up and might help with earning some cash from a great skill Perhaps the southern branch could organise a "buy Mauled a pint" PayPal collection?!
It'd be great to think he got good recognition and outcomes from his talent and hard work. If anyone is in a position to mention him, it'd be great to see his stuff elsewhere. He's one of our own.
Congratulations to all involved, the banners look fantastic. Wish I could've contributed financially but alas, was unable to do so.
