usually a fee for the year is agreed in such deals. Like us joe soaps agree a yearly salary. We get what we get, even if we only work 9 months, that's how a salary works.

Still, Shteve must have some cracking sources, I'll wait to see what he comes up with.

he's gone looking on the interweb for half an hour so he must have something solid

It's all BS anyway, the whole "loan" scenario is a FFP accounting scam, Man Utd have already committed to the full £49m fee

I'm not sure demonstrating that your comment (which I'm sure you regret!) about the cost of Balotelli and Falcao's goals was ill thought through and incorrect can be classified as being "mauled" but happy to go along with that if it makes you feel a tad better about things.

Falcao came on a season long loan. The season ends in mid May. Ergo...

    Source?

I don't regret anything, Failcao by any measure even 9 months salary is still twice the £ per goal that Balotelli is.

And Rooney and Failcao still get paid in wages in a year to equal what we spent on Lallana's transfer fee <laugh> This obviously from the original argument before you started shedding your skin at every turn<ok>

If you work for 9 months and then decide to stop working I suspect your employer will stop putting money into your bank account. I'd be amazed if they think, **** it, let's give him another 3 months money as we did agree to pay him £xxk a year.

What would be really clever Sisu is if you stopped working after a week. They'd still have to pay you for the other 51 weeks!

Rooney and Falcao do get paid a lot of money. Big clubs pay big wages. Little clubs make Lallalla their marquee summer signing!

Look, cite your source that he has not been paid 13.6 million for his services to united for the season.

I can't prove it, can you disprove it?

otherwise it's speculation, fun but speculation

Yeah why doesn't every company just fire their employees the day before they go on holiday and hire them again the day they come back #employmentlawgenius

Ah but you see that goes back to my whole original argument, that we are 5th in wages and 5th in the league and buying the likes of Lallana because we don't have regular CL so can't compete with those above us by buying 50 and 60m players and paying 300k a week.

You've come full poor wum circle lad <laugh>

    ThankAyou good sir<ok>

Are you 5th in transfer fees or is it best to ignore what Liverpool have spent on buying players? I suspect that total player investment in the last decade would see Liverpool as one of the top four spenders.

Liverpool's problem isn't a lack of cash (they've thrown loads of it around over the years), it's that the club has wasted a lot of money on a lot of average players for a long time. You spent £100million last summer on dross all of whom will be earning between £50k to £100k a week. No one forced Liverpool to sign Lala or Balotelli or Lovren. They cost £60million between them and are probably on a combinded salary of £250k a week. There's your marquee player, the replacement for Suarez.

You get 3 months holiday? Is that so you can catch up on your eating?

You made a BS statement, I said you were talking out of your hole, you just admitted that you couldn't prove your statement was correct and were in fact talking out of your hole. Done. Dusted.

Utd had the same manager for 26 years, he obviously got time to build his empire and bring good kids through the system saving on transfer fees, he was a one off and fair play to him.

But since his retirement his former club's owners have faced the harsh reality of actually having to spend big money, owners back their chosen manager's judgement when signing players and as such we've had a few that have come and gone during Fergie's tenure at OT, you as per usual take a snide and pompous dig at LFC not the manager's that were responsible for **** signings over the years, in reality LVG hasn't won anything for last summers massive outlay except more money from a higher league finish and entry into next season's CL, until Utd actually win a major trophy without Fergie at the helm wind your neck in and accept your club's current status...trophyless and living off the past.

That post got angrier with every sentence.

Every manager has the opportunity to bring youth players into the first team. Most choose not to. Mourinho is a good example. Chelsea's youth team are very successful but none of them will ever be given the opportunity to have a run in the first team as long as he's managing it. LVG has spent a **** load of money but he's also shown that he still believes in bringing young players through. McNair and Blackett for example.

I said Liverpool had wasted a lot of money on average players. You took that as a snide dig at LFC. It wasn't. Obviously it's been the managers and DOF or whatever they call them who have identified the players and wasted the clubs money on them. They are at fault but it's the club that has suffered. So no snide dig.

Trophyless and living off the past. That's true of almost every club, every season. Does that mean only Chelsea and Arsenal/Villa fans should be allowed an opinion next season?

The young players LVG has chosen this season were already there.<laugh>

Ferguson's youth system is still paying dividends, its ok you saying every manager has the opportunity etc but they have to be good enough and have come through the clubs ranks first,or are you giving LvG the credit for scouting and training them to the quality required?
As for your purile bs about "opinions" based on current trophy success, where did I say that was some kind of qualifying criteria for having an opinion?

I was referring to your arrogant opinion about LFC's spending and transfer policy and pointing out its pitfalls which is something Utd hadn't had to worry about for almost 26yrs, considering Utd have actually won as much major silverware as LFC since Fergie retired your arrogance is funny as ****.
