Credit for having a go at the Balotelli stat, it was a creative, albeit ineffective way, to try and save face.

Now onto the Falcao stat.

We are working out what it cost Liverpool for balotelli's services for this year as it is fair as Failcao only has one year at united, if we signed him for 4 years for 16 million it is entirely logical to say it is costing us 4 million a year for his services plus wages. Applying the 16 million to just this year would be a statistical analysis failure in measuring the cost of his goals because he still has three more years of the deal left, which means he has three more years to justify that 16m with more goals. So breaking it down to 4m per year in this case makes complete sense.

If failcao was signed for 4 years then 5m per goal would not be accurate, but United did spend 20m on him for this one year, ergo, 5m per goal.

Just because you deny the irrifutable proof doesn't make it so. You're like UIR, you just deny it, even though it stares you in the face, just so you don't have to accept you were wrong, it's called #denial and it's common amongst some visitors to this board

I can see you're going to cling to the argument that the fee should somehow be spread across 4 years. It's nonsense though (but you know that). The fee was paid up front, the money has been spent on securing the player! Money out, player in!

Balotelli has so far cost Liverpool about £20million and he's scored 4 goals. Fakht. If he leaves in the summer and you get a transfer fee for him (can't see it being much though) then no doubt Liverpool will ask for it up front!

So, to explain how Falcao has cost United £20million over the past 9 months (because you're clearly not going to!)...a loan fee of £6million plus wages of £14million which works out at roughly £350k a week in wages. Wow.

If believing Balotelli was somehow a shrewd investment and Falcao cost United £20million makes you feel better about a wretched season overseen by a clueless manager then more power to you!

Falcao's loan has a total cost to Man Utd of £24m (give or take a million). It's for 1 season. £24m / 1 = £24m.
