Is voting Lib Dem seen as more ridiculous as denying the theory of evolution's validity these days?

    Denying the theory of evolution?

The word "evolution" has been used in several senses in recent times. A social aspect has been added to it, for instance, and the word has come to mean human progress and technological development. There is nothing wrong with the concept of "evolution" when it is used in this sense. There is no doubt that man will use his intelligence, knowledge, and strength to develop over time. The sum of human knowledge will grow from generation to generation. In the same way that this is not evidence for the theory of evolution itself, which seeks to explain the emergence of life by chance, neither does it conflict in any way with the fact of creation.

The greatest names in the advancement of science were all creationists

No matter how much evolutionists try to identify themselves with concepts such as innovation and progress, history has shown that the real initiators of innovation and progress have always been faithful scientists who have believed in divine creation. We see the mark of such believing scientists at every point of scientific progress. Leonardo da Vinci, Copernicus, Kepler, and Galileo, who opened a new era in astronomy, Cuvier, the founder of paleontology, Linnaeus, the founder of the modern classification system for plants and animals, Isaac Newton, the discoverer of the law of gravity, Edwin Hubble, who discovered the existence of the galaxies and the expansion of the universe, and many others have believed in God and that life and the universe were created by Him.

One of the greatest scientists of the twentieth century, Albert Einstein, said: I cannot conceive of a genuine scientist without that profound faith.

If you are going to plagiarise Phillip, at least plagiarise something worth a ****.

Scientists of the past believed in a God because they were a product of the societies and culture in which they were raised, and these societies were in the grip of religion.
The scientists of the present are unlikely to believe in a God and the scientists of the future almost certainly won't.

We, in the West, are leaving all of that ignorant mumbo jumbo and the weak stupid people who look to advance themselves by spreading such bullshit behind us.
    It's called progress Phillip.

    How's that Arc coming along?

To any kids still at school reading through this ****.
Go and read up on the theory of evolution and the evidence there is out there to support it.
Then go and read the first few chapters of the bible.
    Make your own minds up...

....and then see if you can find the time to clue Phillip in <laugh>

I am not interested in other people's view on religion or politics as they are mostly self-opinionated crap anyway. I am interested in other people's view on football and our beloved Swans. So back on track, I would not play Amat, who I rate, out of position and at this stage in the season would give Hanley a go.

Your point re religion and politics is well made and has lots of merit.

However, there's also a lot of football related "self opinionated crap" produced on this Forum.

Unfortunately, there are many on here who are NOT interested in other people's view on football if it's in any way at variance with theirs.

    I agree,give Hanley a game.
