    Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds Utd

    Saturday 1230 kick off

Redfearn will be without a number of players for the trip to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

Giuseppe Bellusci and Edgar Cani will definitely be missing and have ruled themselves out for the rest of the season, probably never to be seen again, whilst Lewis Cook and Mirco Antenucci have not recovered sufficiently, and will not be risked for the Yorkshire derby.

Marco Silvestri, Souleymane Doukara and Dario Del Fabro remain doubts after missing the trip to Charlton Athletic last weekend and Gaetano Berardi is also struggling despite being named amongst the subs.

Aidy White could be amongst the squad after coming through 45 minutes for the development squad on Monday. White hasn`t featured this season after suffering an ankle injury in pre-season.

Brian Montenegro is pushing for a starting place after netting a hat-trick for the development squad on Monday.

Tommaso Bianchi and Zan Benedicic remain long-term absentees for Leeds.

Goalkeeper Kieren Westwood is expected to return for Sheffield Wednesday after he suffered an injury in the warm-up ahead of the game at Bournemouth last weekend.

Kamil Zayatte and Sam Hutchinson were also injured at Bournemouth and they will miss the clash and the rest of this season.

Filipe Melo, Jose Semedo, Claude Dielna and Will Keane all trained on Thursday and are hoping to be involved.

Leeds fan Euan Kow sent a photo of Madeleine McCann, claiming it was his lost sister, and asked Bellusci to retweet it.

The intention was to make Bellusci look silly, and unaware of the high profile case, the Leeds defender did what he was asked to do.

Told about the situation, Bellusci apologised for falling foul of the prank.

    Giuseppe Bellusci @peppe_ele

    Sorry I didn't know!!!

    9:07 PM - 23 Apr 2015

That would not be the end of it however. Bellusci was clearly annoyed, and sent a Tweet out to the supporter telling him to come and meet him. The Italian would later delete the message, but not after it was seen by countless fans, with the situation summed up by one of them.

Kow then tweeted to all this mates that he was off to Thorp Arch.

A sick joke or a bit of fun?

Morning elland and all. You named about ten players there not featuring or making the subs bench. I wonder will any one of them ever play for us again especially with the impending arrival of a bunch of Portuguese superstars. Pre season will be interesting to see has mc learned from last years debacle. That'll be the first pointer if we're making progress

Good morning to Matt and co from a very sunny Bardsey the morning mist has evaporated unlike the mist over our club which seems to get denser each day with more intrigue than any thriller I have ever read it will make a great book but no one will believe it !
Latest is why sign players on loan knowing full well they are injured and sever injured loanee is allowed to stay instead of shipping him back to his parent club the whole thing is bizaare to say the least or is it?
I personally think MC is too astute for this so whats in it for him?
Team for tomorrow which may turn out to be Redders swan song I have lost my passion at the moment the sooner the season ends the better!

Morning Elland - A sick joke on the photo/tweet

We know redfearn is going to get the sack, we don't know if the academy lads will remain and sign new contracts

We know the loan players will all return

We know we are in for a busy time on Wikipedia - I find myself just not caring about the rest of this season and feeling not very hopeful for next either.

I find myself wondering the same thing <ok>

I'm with Ristac, bored, couldn't care less any more this season. The Leeds fan sicko need a twatting, and then I wonder if I'm going to get my mojo back for the summer guess who's coming to dinner fiasco. Lots to sort out this summer and can't believe that I said that last summer because it was true with all the BMcD/Cellino stuff and the Hock stuff. But there's more this season and I'm fooking sick of things going backwards when we think we've moved forward. Cellino, Umbers and GFH have completely lost it for me and if the Portuguese players are not new Ronaldo's, Rui Costa's Deko's whats the point

Morning Mike, I like your analogy!

Anything can happen in a local derby, hope its not a 6-0. One thing I would say is the losses we have had have (by majority) been by 1 goal, not 3 or 4 as in previous seasons.

Morning ristac, personally, that Leeds fan needs a good kick in.
A lot of people are saying that if Redders goes, all the starlets will follow. Can't see it personally.

I was listening to talk sport this morning, and they were talking about Jose Mourinho's strengths. A lot of them were psychological, mind games etc, installing confidence in his players. That is something that we have been extremely poor at in the last 15 years. A telltale sign we be tomorrow when we play Wednesday and see how Tom Lees has improved!

Given the strike force Lees will be up against tomorrow, its a safe bet hell have a decent game Elland. Wont be his toughest assignment this season

    Morning Matt <ok>

Mmmmmm............the pressure is really on me as I'm on for a hat trick. <whistle>

Wednesday by two goals and you heard it here first, as it's a derby I fancy 3-1 otherwise I'd have gone for a narrow one goal win. <cheers>

Tom Lees will be easy to see as he'll be the guy with the pipe and slippers with his feet up. Almost like watching those slow motion fight scenes in the Matrix. just swatting our attacks away. The Hock thought Lees was shyte, BMcD used him wrongly and our club has not known what looks good in the centre of defence for years. We had the foreign lad from Rangers who looked like a world beater until we gave him a contract. We spent £1m on Wootton, Tom Lees was a regular for the U21 and then we played him regular and fooked him up. Lets face it every super striker we chuffed to buy hasn't worked out as it and the same in central defence. Maybe because we don't have a decent midfield formation (Sometimes we have this season) lee Trundle was astriker who scored goals for fun everywhere he's played and then he comes to Leeds. Billy Sharp, Gary McSheffery, Barndoor Billy ......

You need to have a different mental attitude when you play for Leeds most strikers can't hack it it puts too much stress/ pressure on them hence a large failure rate
