I admit that when reading back my initial question, it does sound kind of arsey, but it wasn't meant to sound that way. I genuinely wondered why you had such a tough line on that particular conspiracy, because I only saw it quoted and was curious if you had a personal reason to dislike talk of the holocaust. I think this whole argument has risen out of a small misunderstanding with the tone of my first post. I apologise if you thought I was being snide but I really wasn't trying to be

It's worth mentioning that there are a lot of Israelis who don't agree with the persecution of the Palestinians and that it's a country that feels consistently on the verge of war and as such it isn't difficult for paranoia and fear to affect opinions.

Spot on about the holocaust though

 

Mate I know you'll agree there is less than 0% chance it is a conspiracy and so, to even consider all those half dead Jews freed from camps are liars, would require some measure of antisemitism.

Terrific asked me this question on this thread and then went nuts with the subject telling me I am presidposed to seeing racism, as if someone who started a denial thread could somehow not be racially motivated.

Israel is the most openly fascist nation on the planet, they rightly mourn the millions of their dead brethren who died in the horrific holocaust, then they go and bomb the **** out of innocent civilians in Palestine/Gaza and steal land on the West Bank.

 

Personally I am very uneasy with censoring someone on the internet and don't like the idea of people not being able to respond... But to deny the holocaust is just ridiculous. What kind of backwards, hills have eyes reject would even consider that it didn't happen?

It's the sort of thread that couldn't lead anywhere except insults and outrageous claims and arguments with a pinch of upset and pissed of posters. I'd expect the person to get a short ban and be told not to go down that road in the future followed by a perms ban if the topic reappeared.

When we talk about the holocaust we rightly make the differentiation between the nazis and the Germans. The same consideration is worth making with the Israelis, there are a lot of them who don't like the way things are done by there government and a lot of others who follow the insane decisions based on fear (and it's completely understandable why the every day person in Israel feels this fear).

I never said every Israeli citizen agreed with anything.

 

But when I highlighted that it was worth remembering that not all of the Israelis agree with there governments actions and others do through fear you quickly jumped in to tell me once again all about how bad Israel is..

Sisu then went off on one of his rants about deniers and making claims about me defending deniers etc which I never did.

He sees his arse about the free thinker comment and comes on the board to make spurious claims about me and insinuates that I am some kind of holocaust denier myself without any back up of quotes etc.

But obviously it wasnt me he was talking about, it was somebody else he was having a PM with about this at exactly the same time.

I didn't reply to your PM as I'd been instructed to never PM you again by site admin, as I'd sent you a 1 line message asking why you'd been moaning to the mods on here and I called you a ***got for doing so. You'd PM'd me twice the same ****ing day and yet a 1 line question resulted in your trying to get me banned via site admin.

Sums you up as a complete waste of space as far as I'm concerned as behaviour like that, merely because you couldn't get the better of me in a discussion, is purile, childish and quite frankly embarrassing.

Sorry if you've had some stress, but don't we all, I hope you get over it and everythings rosey n your garden again shortly, but I won't accept what you did was justified by it.

 

There can be no balance for the slaughter of innocents, but there can be understanding that some people in Israel that believe in peace are not a strong enough voice to make a difference to the country's expansionist policies.

 

I think he meant he hadn't said it was you he was in a PM convo with until you posted to say it was you, rather than saying he was having the same convo with someone else.

This is one of those times when it's best to leave it I reckon, you'll both just end up doing each other's heads in! Believe me I've been there!

There's no-one denying the holocaust so let's all hold hands and sing kumbaya?
