Has anyone heard the blackpool chairman on ssn? He said we gave then cash and 2 youth players bruna and Tom ince. They are apparently just sorting the final contracts for the players. I dont understand why we gave them ince on perm basis he was really promising and deffo 1 to keep.
Actually I fully expected Ince to leave. He never really impressed me, at Nottingham forest he didn't particularly shine either - and especially on the flanks he's being replaced by the likes of Sterling... I'm a little disappointed that yet again we've lost another youth player, but I suspect it's better than him leaving on a free when his contract is up. Bruna on loan is good business and he's still quite young for a loanee so hopefully he'll come back with some much needed experience, and I think blackpool will really help his attacking side.
Ince was going for the exits anyway, thats old news.His father Paul publicly advised him to not sign the contract that was offered and hold out for a better deal last christmas. Unfortunately for Tom no better deal was forthcoming
We have, it was on Sky Sports News yesterday. The blackpool chairman was talking about the deal and said Ince and Bruna are signing permanent as part of the deal and that they just finalising the contracts.
Neither of the 2 players mentioned are a massive loss I would say it may even be good business to keep the Adam fee as low as possible.
I would have preferred to keep Bruna, I thought he looked capable. But then I suppose Kenny sees them all the time, and if he doesn't think they will make it with us, then they have to go.
To be fair, Kenny knows more about the youth team then virtually anyone so his decision is unquestionable with regards to which youth players are going
It's not nonsense the squad list was done before the deal and the details came straight from the chairmans mouth on sky sports news. if you dont believe me google it.
That's hardly a cast iron source, it could be an oversight. Ince & Bruna are hardly stars AND they haveb't actually signed contracts with blackpool yet so anything could happen
Agreed im just telling you guys what i saw on sky sports news and that was the blackpool chairman stating Bruna and Ince are part of the deal and they are just finalising the contracts.
I guess if Blackpool didn't get Bruna and Ince, we might have paid a lot more for Adam. In the end, if they were both promising prospects, they wouldn't have been let go. I wish the two lads the very best at Blackpool. Hope they can go on and have a good footballing career.
