    Not good enough as a starter, may be ok as back up depending on the price. Certainly no replacement for Bony. Can't be ant worse than we have now, well we don't actually have cover up front.

    Good goal rate this season playing in an attacking team and two up front.

    My worry would be, "On 26 November 2013 Gestede joined Blackburn Rovers on loan until the end of 2013 under an emergency loan arrangement after he found his playing time at Cardiff reduced since their promotion to the Premier League."

    Perhaps some of our regular soul boy Jacks can enlighten us about his ability asa lone striker!

    I was also very surprised that Le Fondre didn't "hack it" at Cardiff.

    Well Alf certainly "hacked it". Unfortunately he didn't hack it into the goal <laugh> Seems to be able to do it at Reading and Bolton :headbang:
