When I was living in England, my epilepsy and asthma medications were free but I had to complete a special form. Here, we pay the surgery £2 per prescription but do not have to pay the pharmacy. The exception to having to pay the prescription charge is if it is issued during an appointment, which costs £38. My youngest has an intolerance to soft fruits and he couldn't eat or drink them or products containing them. It took a long time for us to get a diagnosis as the effects didn't show for 3 days and we had to go to London for the tests. He was still at nursery when he was diagnosed and despite us giving them orange squash to drink instead of the apple and blackcurrant they normally gave the children, they still occasionally forgot. Then a few days later he had to stay at home for 3 days for something that was their fault, so for his last year at nursery he was moved to one where they had to take their own food in. He can now eat things with small amounts of those fruits, but prefers the taste of them without. As an example, he'll eat pizza, but instead of the tomato sauce, he'll have extra cheese or béchamel sauce.
Well my grand daughter has had her day of tests in Poitiers and the news is good. They are putting her on a program that over the next two months will get her used to milk/dairy products, and after that is complete they are confident she will be able to have a normal diet. Today she was given tiny amounts of milk and was monitored to see if there was a reaction. Gradually they increased the amount and by the end of the day she was able to drink half a pint of milk without many problems. Programs have been used here for nut allergies, dairy and even gluton ones over many years, yet in England she was told that nothing could be done and she would have to just live with it. It has taken nearly a year for today's tests to come about, but hopefully it has been worth the wait.
Good morning from a dry Jersey. So frustrating at softball training last night as my part in the session was disrupted by injury, and it was a re-occurrence of the injury that I had on Saturday, which is a thigh strain. The annoying thing is that it was fine between Saturday evening and the fielding drill last night.

Maybe Iceland should consider joining the EU.... EU Regulation No 1151/2012 on agricultural products and foodstuffs (applicable to EU members but gradually being via l agreements between the EU and non-EU countries) aims to ensure that only products genuinely originating in that region are allowed to be identified as such in commerce. Alternatively, you could start a tweetstorm on Twitter, and tell the whole world...

The rules dived teams of equal points by which nation wins the duel between the two and unhappily Serbía beat us in overtime ansd Spann in normal time and Ísland lost to Spann so we are bottom of the three. This is not a bad show for a nation of 320.000 people.
