The fun league is ready to launch but sadly Not606 does not have sufficient capability to allow me to display everything I would like to, so..........I have created a blog where all the fixtures, results, league tables etc can be placed Go here to view http://thaicanaryfootballleague.weebly.com/index.html This is a new website created, I have done away with the blog as it did not offer sufficient capability or functionality.
Thai - at the end of the day, you are the one putting in all the work on this, whichever system you find most user friendly, the rest of us will get used to. Go for the easiest.
I would prefer to keep it on site if I am being honest and it looks very tidy. It also allows me to format the way I want to but it does take more effort. Decisions, decisions, decisions.............**** it, I am off for a beer after you waved that smilie at me
Love the way Norwich are top of that league (albeit only one match played) and Huddersfield are bottom. Pass that medical and sign, Mr Pilkington
Thai- this is looking awesome! Hope you are keeping the copyright up to date for when the sponsors come calling! ; )
We now have the match previews for the first set on games. Go here to view http://funfootballleague.blog.com/ and use the drop down menu
ok folks, a quick update I have found a better website & hosting package. Basically this site allows me more control over what I include and where, meaning I can introduce the graphics I wanted from the outset. The new website can be found here http://thaicanaryfootballleague.weebly.com/index.html As always, I open to comments and/or suggestions
ok managers The new website is getting close to completion. The official site for the fun league will now be http://thaicanaryfootballleague.weebly.com/index.html Do not accept any cheap foreign imitations
Looks easy to follow Thai. Well done young sir. When will it be ready? Treat yourself to some proper san mig.
I hope to have all fixtures listed by Wednesday, sooner if the wife doesn't want to go shopping All I have to do after that is add all the managers for each league and we are ready to hit the ground running in August
Good work, Thai, I can't wait for the season to start now, to see how it pans out. I'd imagine, with my luck, that Blackpool will be record-breaking low scorers now they've lost Adam
I didn't realise it was real life scores that counted when I picked Southend, so I'm just hoping they play like we do and let in a few and score a few every match!
Thai- have you thought about organising a cup competition between all teams on your site? Of course, it would mean we would end up with multiple Man Utds, Leicesters etc in the same competition but that could be quite amusing in its own right. You could run it on FA cup or Champions League days, but take it from whichever real-life match is closest to that date (regardless of whether its a cup or league match). You would need some way of avoiding draws- perhaps the manager who's name is closest alphabetically to his team's first scorer wins aet?
