When Millwall's long overdue relegation is confirmed this week, and the little Club return to their natural level alongside Orient and Colchester in League One. Imagine the midweek attendances at the Den next season when the likes of Scunthorpe come visiting We have all enjoyed TC's gloating forays onto this forum post -derby twice a season, but who else thinks that Millwall's answer to Lord Lucan will be too busy consulting tour guides of Rochdale to bother us again #ThanksHolloway
I lost respect for TC when he disappeared from here during Millwall's dire run under agent Holloway. They are not dead and buried yet. If Rotherham get deducted three points it is very much game on.
He didn't just disappear from here, he went AWOL from Millwall's forum. Which begs the question, does he still support Millwall?
I am still here - and I am grateful that some of you have dedicated a page in your jotters to note my absence
I believe that three other clubs across the football league have done the same this season. One of them, I believe was Brighton & Hove Albion. They all faced a £20,000 fine from The FA. That would be pretty much the same here, I guess, otherwise, that'll be very odd to treat someone differently over the others.
They can only deduct the points that the respective teams got from the game in question. Blackpool were fined for it this season, but lost the game and thus received no point to deduct. AFC Wimbledon did it for a game that they won, hence the 3 point deduction. Hartlepool and Torquay both won the games they fielded ineligible players in and were each docked 3 points. If Rotherham do get one, it will be the 4th time in 10 years that they have had a ponts deduction!
TC & Steve - you are forgetting that Millwall have scraped up by the skin of their teeth in the last two seasons. The law of averages suggests that it is going to be third time unlucky
I think 'wall will stay up. Annoying as before the charlton game I made a bet with a mate and am now fearing the pay out
Exactly Roy, we know we've been pony this season and deserve to go down where we'll be more competitive in league 1. I've said many times that I'm fed up of relying on other results over the last few seasons, as it's no basis for a good future and that our luv will run out eventually which it will this season.
