How many times has United and LVG received flak for winning the points but playing "poorly"? I am not saying that crowds need to be always entertained. On the evidence of the first half of the season, I do not think the OT crowd would have taken lightly to the team parking the bus against a weakened side with a stuttering striker, a makeshift midfield without its playmaker and a makeshift defence if we were running away with the title 10 points ahead. I don't think as champions elect it would even cross our manager's mind.

 

Long Ball Louis is working on his philosophy for next weekend. So is Bus Driver Jose.
