I thought it was because he laughed or clapped or summat like that when we lost at home to Fulham first game of the season that really pissed everyone off. He's been a bloody big miss. Even popped up with the odd goal! Like you said, be careful what you wish for!
No, people wanted Bardlsey replaced cos he was average at best. Problem is that we didn't improve on him so it's a double whammy. He got the odd goal as well and 2 or 3 goals could have given us 4 or 5 points extra.
Agreed mate, yeah we needed better but we didn't get it and we end up weaker. We did a god awful job of recruitment last 3 years, I just pray that Hull save us.
Bardsley was ****. It's funny the way some crave mediocrity as soon as the chips are down. Was the same when Fraiser left. If people are pin pointing the rb position to our failings I think it's daft as I think Rev is twice the fullback Bardo was. People forget we were **** all of last season with Bardo in the team, shipped goals all season long. Look at the way Conner turned him inside this season at the SoL. People want that back? If it's based on Bardos goals last season well Darryl Murphy once scored a screamer, lets get him back too anarl
I disagree, Rev's positional defensive play knocks socks of Bardo's imo. Both are **** going forward though. Don't rate Jones at all.
Don' see one post, stating they want Bardo back, more the fact that he was one of the players that left, and have not replaced them effectively enough.
I do. Mine. Said in jest. I also asked if people want him back I think Rev is a step up and that Bardo was ****e. That's my view. There's many areas without adequate replacements but with that position we got there in the end. Rev may be short term, getting on and a late arrival, but he's better than Bardo imo
