He is on a free, even for 5m he is going to offer more than Lambert, Mario and Borini as an attacking threat. Can play wing back and across the park.

He's a good squad player - but we already have one in Henderson. We don't need squad players - we need players who can walk straight into the first team.

I'd play Milner on the left to play with Moreno, cout and sterling ahead just behind studge, with hendo on the right lucas can in the middle

Milner cuts in when playing on the left and Moreno bombs for the byline, tin opener, leaves cout and Sterling more central behind Studge, where imo they are most dangerous.

 

We need a higher level of quality in the first team. And there are younger, cheaper and better options out there.

And he's not better than what we already have - he's at the same level - which is average.

 

Milner would be a decent acquisition for pretty much any prem. team Jimmy.

He's multi-positional,has the experience in this league and will score goals aswell.
