It honestly doesn't matter. Monk could play himself in all 11 positions and I'd still take you 3-0. We won't score and we won't care. Were turning a profit. That's all that matters.

I'm eternally grateful for the invitation.

I always suspected that you could be socialised, but it took a very long time.

Even wild dogs can be brought to heel,so keep up the good work now. <laugh>

You are being very generous there, never. I wouldn't haven't have lavished such praise on it. <laugh>

Stumpy clearly has a great big void in his life, and Monk, the Cupless wonder, seems to fit it perfectly. How sad is that?

Help me out here, how many bollocks are in a load of bollocks never?. Just trying to calibrate the number of bollocks your talking here never, two bollocks, three, more. Just how many bollocks are you thinking about? I've only ever needed two and I've used them so well. Are you missing a couple never?

Every game is exciting to me, it's all about the competition, will we win, draw, lose, its in that I get my excitement, the thrill of competion with an unknown outcome

There are of course two sides to this debate and it appears that never the twain shall meet.

One view demands we play Barcelonaesque football. They place result secondary to performance.

The other view, the one I subscribe to, is the polar oposite. My view is that reults are the all important thing, not our style of football. If we can look pretty, pretty while getting a result then all's good in both worlds.

It all depends what's important to you, looking good, or being good: substance over matter.

I challenge the view that we have not played well this season and suggest it is a straw that some ineptly cling to in an effort to debase our Garry.

Our style has changed, there is no doubting that, but this new style has made us a harder team to play and beat and it is responsible for our current points tally and subsequent position

Points must be respected and achieving them is the raison detre of every competative, professional football club worldwide.

We've done what we've had to do for the majority of this season and this sits well with me. It doesn't make me a better person or anything, it just suites my style. Results matter and points are everything.

Win lose or draw I have enjoyed every single game, Its been by far the best season ever as the league table will testify. Gone is the one trick pony football that everyone got use too and a more of a variation and sometimes trial and error type football when we are short of regular players to choose from. ...A superb season so much so that monk is a candidate for manager of the season and win it or not is testament to him and his players.....

So are you dropping the pretence and coming out of the closet marked Dai then Phil?

That article was from 4/5 years ago. The thread stated that this was something that was on the horizon.....of course, it was obviously just a massive coincidence that "Dai's" thread coincided with a much publicised story concerning the English (Rugby Union) Premiership's proposal to scrap relegation.
    Just one MASSIVE ****ing coincidence!

You think I'm angry? I'm pissing myself <laugh>
The word pathetic doesn't even begin to cover it where "Dai"/You are concerned.
Keep up the good work chuckle brothers...

    OK
I tried on 1 & 2 to offer discussion points about the team.
    (3 was tongue in check)
However, it seems the usual suspects only want to have a go at other posters.
