Henderson will sign I'm 99% sure. He's going to be Gerrard's replacement in terms of captain of the team, he'd be foolish not to sign. Where else would he go? Arsenal? Not technically gited enough to get into their midfield. Chelsea? Not good enough. City? Possibly as a replacement for Milner but he'd become a squad player and rarely play. He's got into the England team with us and we are clearly the best place for him right now. He seems pretty sensible as well and think he knows all of this. Sterling, I still think he'll sign but possibly with a caveat that if a CL club comes in for him he can go for X amount.
Reports coming out that he's agreed to a new deal £100k a week. The comment I've bolded sums Henderson up - if he's not good enough for those above us, then why is he good enough for us? Paying him £100k a week and making him captain shows you where we're at as a club. Solid squad player but nothing more. Seems to have evaded a lot of criticism for a) his poor performances over the past month or so, and b) refusing to sign a contract ext (unlike Sterling who got pelters).
He's good enough imo as long as he has quality in there with him, I agree with the captain thing and unlike a lot of people I've said all along that he shouldn't be our captain.

Well, would you commit to us right now? We're definitely a big question mark at the moment, and even I'm unsure as to whether we have the bones of a fantastic squad or whether we actually need another overhaul, because quite frankly we've a lot of sub par players.
