But look on the bright side all the visiting fans said they had a great time. As seen on Tripadvisor.

If only! on the way there the M1 was closed and was signposted on the matrix signs for many miles before the incident, the coach driver blindly carried on regardless into a massive jam and meant that we missed the start of the match. On the way back every coach stopped at the same service station at the same time, the result was complete chaos meaning you had no chance of getting anything before they set off again unless you got there first (which we didn't). If we go on coach again it will be with Simon, TT are rubbish!

Only it doesn't, Tripadvisor is just full of comments from home fans.

I'm still skipping away's until we find out what's happened to the ASI fund, two coaches is pathetic, but hardly surprising given the ****e way we're being treated.

I had a look after your comments before, and you're right.

It seems a bizarre claim for him to have made.

People have been trying to get a seat on TT since last week, it really doesn't surprise me in the slightest that imbeciles at the club didn't have the vision to put on an additional coach <doh>

For anyone travelling, remember to allow extra time as the first 40 miles of the M1 are on 50mph narrow lanes with average speed cameras & the next part of managed motorway cameras are always on (set for 70).....not only when there is an overhead gantry variable speed limit illuminated

The long stretch of road works really doesn't make a great deal of difference to your journey time, and are you sure about that? We fly up and down there regularly and never once had a ticket.

I thought it was the law that speed cameras were only switched on on motorways when there's a variable speed limit anyway.

The 30th Anniversary of the Bradford City Fire Disaster occurs on May 11th 2015.

please log in to view this image

56 supporters died in the Disaster, two of whom supported Lincoln City, Bradford City’s opponents in 1985. 258 other supporters suffered injuries, of whom many sustained serious burns.

The official commemoration of the Disaster will take the customary forms, with a service of civic remembrance in Centenary Square, Bradford, on Monday May 11th 2015, and a collection at Bradford City’s ground, Valley Parade, on the last home game of the regular season, versus Barnsley on Saturday April 25th 2015. A Bucket Collection for the University of Bradford Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit (PSBRU) will be taken at this game. The annual Memorial Football Tournament for young people will be held in Bradford on Easter weekend, April 5-6th, and other events are planned.

It is recognised that many individuals and groups around the country and beyond will wish to join in the commemoration of the tragic events of May 11th 1985, and this participation is welcomed by Bradford City FC and its supporters.

The Football Association, the Football League, the Premier League and the Women’s Super League are inviting all clubs in the English leagues to observe a minute’s silence before all matches played on the weekend of April 25th 2015 (from Friday April 24th to Monday April 27th inclusive). It is also suggested that clubs and their supporters might wish to undertake appropriate fundraising for the PSBRU. The Premier League has pledged to match the sum collected at their matches over the next weekend.

The Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit at the University of Bradford was established in the aftermath of the fire, and has become a lasting memorial to all those who suffered there. The continued existence of the PSBRU depends heavily on donations from the public, and contributions to its funds are welcomed from individuals, families, organisations or commercial companies. Anyone who wishes to make a financial contribution to the 30th Anniversary Commemoration is encouraged to make a donation to the PSBRU.

It is anticipated that there will be a bucket collection at Selhurst Park on Saturday, 25th April. Supporters on Tiger Travel coaches will be offered the opportunity to make a contribution. Hull City Supporters’ Trust will also be making a contribution to the PSBRU.

They are really annoying because they go on for ever, they might not make a huge difference to the overall journey time but they drive me mad so I am off over the bridge and down the A1, it's actually shorter that way too

Not sure about the law but my neighbour managed 3 tickets on the way to Dorset, one doing 58 (limit 50) through the average cameras, another doing 81before East Midlands Airport (M1 limit 70) and a third on some more managed motorway near Bristol.....expensive holiday for points & fines
